Dr. Sandra Carlson is a Board Certified Internal Medicine physician with 21 years medical experience both in the United States and abroad. She has extensive experience in both in-hospital and outpatient medical practices in the Northern New Jersey area, receiving consistently high patient ratings in physician review sites such as HealthGrades.com and Vitals.com. She has held previous affiliations with Morristown Memorial Hospital and St. Clare's Hospital. Dr. Carlson completed her U.S. medical residency from the top-ranking St. Barnabas Hospital in Livingston, NJ - - where her expertise led her to be selected as Resident of the Year for 3 consecutive years. Prior to that, Dr. Carlson led a distinguished medical career in Brazil, as a cardiologist working at Brazilian cardiology centers such as Santa Casa de Bauru and the prestigious Instituto do Coracao in Sao Paulo, Brazil. She also has extensive experience working in Emergency Room and Intensive Care Unit settings. Dr. Carlson lives with her husband and children in Bergen County, NJ.​
