CCCS - Key Persons
After 12 years teaching in the classroom, Mr. Wallace joined CCCS as principal in 2020. He holds a Masters degree from Indiana University and his educational work has been published and presented both nationally and internationally. Scott and his wife Sophie are active members of City Church For All Nations. Their daughter, Olive attends CCCS and their son, Amos, will attend when he is old enough. Scott loves to read and does Crossfit when he can fit it in his schedule. He loves almost all food except for watermelon!

Alanna Long graduated from Indiana University in 2014 with a BS in Visual Arts Education. She began her teaching career here at CCCS teaching art, gym, and computer. Alanna and her husband, Andrew (a CCCS graduate) spent some time in Georgia before moving back to Bloomington. Alanna is excited to be teaching art and computer again.
Mrs. Barrow grew up in Avon, Indiana. She came to Bloomington years ago to attend Indiana University where she graduated with a Bachelor's Degree in Early Childhood Education. Mrs. Barrow has taught at a public school here in town for the last 17 years. She has taught preschool, kindergarten, and second grade. Along with her husband, Adam, she attends City Church for All Nations and is a part of the City Kids program. Together, Mr. and Mrs. Barrow, have 5 children. Mrs. Barrow is so excited to have a classroom here at CCCS, where she can share her faith and love of God with others!

Janie graduated from IUPUI with a BS in Occupational Therapy. She and her husband, Chris, have lived in Bloomington over 20 years. They have two daughters, Katie and Hannah. St. Martin of Tours in Martinsville, IN, is their parish home.
Mrs. Hill graduated with a BS in Elementary Education from Indiana University. She taught at Clear Creek Christian School for 7 years before having children. During her time away from teaching, Mrs. Hill served on the school's board. Now that her children are of school age, she is excited to return to teaching at CCCS! She is married to Nat Hill V. They have 3 children- Nat VI, David and Lucy, who are all CCCS students.
Mrs. Allard knew at a young age that she wanted to be a teacher. After graduating from Ohio University, she began her teaching career in Franklin, Indiana. She has taught in elementary schools, preschools, and within the church. Mrs. Allard's youngest daughter, Lydia, is a graduate of Clear Creek Christian School.
Mrs. Christy has taught Kindergarten and first grade at Clear Creek Christian School. She has been with CCCS since 1999. Mrs. Christy has her BA from Indiana University and her MS from Indiana Wesleyan. She is married to Daniel and they have two daughters, Kailey and Danica, who both attended Clear Creek Christian School.
Mrs. Daunhauer graduated from Indiana University with a BS in Elementary Education. She is married to Neal Daunhauer and has two adult children, Korey and Mallorey. The baby of their family is their dog, Griffey. Neal and Krista are active members at Westside Community Church. Before coming to CCCS, Mrs. Daunhauer taught kindergarten for 16 years in the Monroe County School Corporation.
Mrs. Post is a graduate of Anderson University with a BA in Elementary Education. She and her husband, Paul, attend Sherwood Oaks Christian Church, and have lived in Bloomington since 2002. They have two children, Wyatt and Alli, who are both graduates of Clear Creek Christian School. Fun fact, two things that are guaranteed to make Mrs. Post happy are sweet tea and polka dots!
Melissa Ganka-Collins grew up in the Bloomington area, graduated from Bloomington High School North, and earned a BA at Indiana University. She loves middle grade literature and helping kids find books they love! She and her husband Mike have been married for 22 years and have two children, Ryan and Nora, who are both CCCS graduates and now attend IUPUI and Bloomington North. The Collins family attends Sherwood Oaks Christian Church and are active in the BISM and Young Life ministries.
Mrs. Walker graduated from Purdue University with her BA in Criminal Justice. She worked as a social worker for a few years before completing a Transition to Teaching program through Taylor University. She and her husband, Jacob have a yellow lab, a chocolate lab, and a black cat.
Mrs. Kelley taught at CCCS for 13 years. A graduate of Hanover College with her BS, Mrs. Kelley is married to Thad, and they have two children, Rachel and Drew, who are both graduates of Clear Creek Christian School.

Rebecca Figert graduated from Liberty University with a Health Promotions degree. After homeschooling her three kids for 8 years (all three CCCS graduates), she started teaching at Clear Creek Christian School in 2018. She and her husband, Stephen, have been married for 18 years and attend Sherwood Oaks Christian Church. Rebecca loves teaching S.T.E.A.M. and on most days, she really enjoys recess.
Mrs. Kershner received her BA from Indiana University. She began her teaching career in Indianapolis teaching second and fifth grades in Warren Township. She also taught a multilevel class at Templeton Elementary. She is married to Bill Kershner and they have two children, Charlie and Emma, who are both graduates of Clear Creek Christian School.
Mrs. Natalie graduated from Indiana University with a degree in Elementary Education and taught first grade for four years at Taylorsville Elementary in Columbus, Indiana before coming to CCCS. She and her husband, Josh just recently added an adorable puppy named Oakley to their family.
Mrs. Welch knew from a young age (5th grade to be exact) that she wanted to be a teacher and she enjoys living out her childhood dream everyday with her students. She is from California, but chose to come to Bloomington for college and graduated with a teaching degree from Indiana University. She is married to David Welch and they have three children - Giacomo, Kalyan, and Estelle. Kalyan and Estelle attend Clear Creek Christian School and Giacomo attended CCCS before transferring to Middle School. Mrs. Welch taught in Southern California prior to having children, and after taking a break to raise her little ones, she joined the faculty at Clear Creek Christian School in 2019. Mrs. Welch is known for her passion and loves making the classroom interactive and fun while teaching her class how to be smarter than a 5th grader.
Sarah grew up in Bloomington, IN and received her BS from Indiana University in 2008. She has worked in special events, non-profit fundraising and development for over 17 years both locally and nationally. Sarah and her husband Phil are active members of Redeemer Community Church, along with their two children Lily and Eric.
wmattner@cccschool.com For over 30 years, Wendy has poured into the lives of others in the fields of Christian education and counseling. She has also built into the lives of her family as a wife, a mom, and now a grandmother. Starting her professional career in the middle school classroom, Wendy quickly found her heart calling her to the guidance counseling office in the Christian school and to lay counseling in the church. She holds a master's degree in Christian counseling and has continued her training in Biblical counseling. Wendy and her husband Jeff live in Martinsville, have three grown girls (who are all grown and married to wonderful godly men,) and they have ten grandchildren. Jeff and Wendy are active members of Stones Crossing Church in Greenwood.
