Christ Lutheran School was founded in 1965 to serve the community of Rosedale and surrounding communities... All children deserve an education that will help them reach their full potential as human beings. Our goal is to provide each student with the foundational academic knowledge that they need to succeed in higher learning. Our students also learn Christian faith and values, begin their day with prayer, and gather together in chapel to worship God, so that they grow not only academically, but spiritually as well... From the beginning, ours has been a diverse, welcoming school receiving students from Rosedale and the surrounding neighborhoods in Queens and Nassau County. We are known for our smaller class sizes and individual student attention. Our faculty and staff are very dedicated, and many of our alumni are accepted into excellent high schools and colleges, and go on to have great careers.
