Carol McPhillips-Tangum

Carol is a public health and evaluation consultant. She has more than 20 years of experience in research and evaluation. Carol has led teams of health educators, health service researchers, and data analysts in the design, implementation and evaluation of health improvement and disease management programs for diverse populations. Carol focuses on health services research, with an emphasis on survey research and program evaluation. In her capacity as a health services researcher, Carol has been the principal investigator on numerous projects and has authored numerous reports and articles in peer-reviewed journals on topics such as immunization, tobacco control, healthy aging, public health informatics, and preventive services. Carol has been a guest lecturer in health services research and program evaluation at the Emory University Rollins of Public Health. She received her B.A. from the University of California, San Diego and her M.P.H. from the University of Texas School of Public Health. She is a member of the American Evaluation Association (AEA) and the Public Health Leadership Society.
