Alexia Grivas

Alexia Grivas is a Junior Analyst at Club Estate, providing support on research topics and day-to-day business. She has previously gained practical experience in one of the Big Four Accounting Firms and as a research analyst in a digital transformation consulting startup. Alexia holds a Bachelor's degree with a major in Banking and Finance from the University of Zurich. In her bachelor thesis she focused on the topic of real estate tokenization.

Dr. Marcus Sasse - CEO, Founder

Marcus is a seasoned commercial real estate investment professional with an extensive track record in commercial real estate investments and the management of JV's, club deals, segregated mandates and funds. He founded Club Estate in 2018 as an independent real estate investment advisory firm offering family offices and institutional investors unbiased advice on all aspects of the commercial real estate life cycle, from deal origination to exit. Club Estate applies a proprietary technology platform to support property sourcing, evaluation and the investor management process. Prior to founding Club Estate, Marcus worked at Credit Suisse Global Real Estate as Deputy Head Investment Mandates & Advisory. At Credit Suisse, Marcus was involved in over USD 1 billion in transactions across multiple asset types. Prior to Credit Suisse, Marcus worked at UBS Global Asset Management as Head of Global Asset Management Saudi Arabia, where he focused on international real estate investments. Marcus started his career as an Analyst and Portfolio Manager for UBS Global Asset Management. Marcus holds an MD from Aachen University and an EMBA from Kellogg/WHU.

Florian Devaud

Florian Devaud is an Investment Associate at Club Estate responsible for sourcing and analyzing real estate transactions. Florian has gained experience working for Credit Suisse and UBS, where he specialized in evaluating direct real estate club deals for wealth management clients and structuring real estate debt financing solutions for institutional and corporate clients. Prior to this, he worked for a major Swiss insurance company in their real estate portfolio management division. He studied business management at EHL and holds a master's degree in Real Estate from HSLU. Florian is also a CFA Charterholder.

Jörg Sperling

Jörg is Member of the Club Estate Advisory Board. He has been active in leading partner roles in the private equity and the venture capital industry for almost two decades. Jörg has been instrumental in raising the funds he led and co-led. Before returning to Munich, he was active in Silicon Valley for many years. Jörg has also worked for several semiconductor companies in Europe and the US in leading global sales roles. Jörg has a masters in Electrical Engineering from RWTH Aachen.

Lars Dott - CEO, Founder

Lars is Co-Founder and Managing Partner at Club Estate and responsible for the development of the Club Estate digital platform, marketing and brand development. He has extensive experience as Digital & Brand Lead for global players and start-ups, i.e. UCB, Sony, Roche, KION etc. Lars is passionate for new ideas. He and his team have founded and managed various successfull software products with focus on pharmaceutical and finance industry. In the past he worked successfully as Commercial Real Estate Marketer and realized campaigns for DB Real Estate & Union Investment. He holds degrees in Communication Design, Marketing & Media Studies from INArt Institute for Visual Design & HDU University of Applied Sciences.

Prof. Thorsten Hens

Thorsten Hens is Swiss Finance Institute Professor of Financial Economics and Member of the Directorate of the Institute for Banking and Finance at the University of Zurich. In addition, he is on the Steering Committee of the Center for Urban & Real Estate Management (CUREM). After completing his PhD at the University of Bonn, he held positions in Bielefeld, Paris and Stanford. He is also Adjunct Professor in the Finance Department of the Norwegian School of Economics in Bergen and in the Economics Department of the University of Lucerne. Thorsten Hens runs the SNF project "Behavioral Finance for Retail Banking", is a member of the URPP "Finreg" and one of the principal researchers in the Sinergia project "The Affective and Cognitive Foundations of Successful Decision Making".

His transactional experience include capital raising (debt and equity), investment, development, financing and structuring.

Roger Tan

Roger is a Partner and Board Member of the Club Estate Prime Selection Fund. He is a business owner since 2007 and apart from his commodities businesses, he is also a serial entrepreneur venturing in various sectors as well as private equity investments. His first commercial real estate investment was closed in 2013 with a focus on European recovery investment strategies. Since then, Roger has participated in numerous transactions, advi-sed family offices and concluded over $500 million in real estate assets across Europe. Roger holds a Bachelor in Business, MBA and Masters in Real Estate from National University of Singapore.

Zoltan Szelyes

Zoltan is co-founder of Macro Real Estate and Head Real Estate Indirect Investments of a Swiss family office. He started his career at Credit Suisse in 2004, where he built up the Global Real Estate Research Framework for Private Banking from scratch. In 2007, he joined the Swiss National Bank (SNB) as a senior economist, acting as advisor to Thomas Jordan, now President of the SNB. He was also co-responsible for asset management of the SNB StabFund Limited Partnership for Collective Investment, a 'bad bank' that emerged from the UBS bailout with assets under management of USD 39 billion. Following the successful liquidation of the unit with a reported profit of USD 3.8 billion, Zoltan rejoined Credit Suisse in 2014 as Head of Global Real Estate Research and led Investment Research for the global Credit Suisse Asset Management Real Estate platform until Q2 2020.
