In years past, our firm, known then as Colonial Insurance Agency (1996-2008), and Colonial Life and Accident (1986-1995), employed staff and a field of agents that covered the State of Vermont. In recent years Steve has chosen to limit his practice, select customers where there is a mutually friendly binding relationship and enjoy life with them and his own family. Steve now works independently in association with other advisers and by design currently does not have staff... My firm and its associates are not attorneys or accountants and the recommendations we offer in these areas related to financial planning should be reviewed with your council. We work with our clients' attorneys and accountants in most cases. Steve is not an investment adviser, one who evaluates and recommends securities (stocks and bonds, etc.). Steve associates with a team of investment advisers that handles these areas.
