Brad Cox

Brad began his career with London Life in 1981 after attending the University of North Dakota from 1976-80 receiving his Bachelor of Management degree. While attending UND, Brad was on the hockey team that won the NCAA National Championship in 1980. Brad has always enjoyed participating in the community and has engaged with many foundations in Lethbridge helping to raise funds for U of L, Lethbridge College, Alberta Summer/Winter Games and many others. He was also part of the committee that helped bring University hockey to Lethbridge in 1982 along with co coaching the team until 1988. Brad enjoys playing golf and hockey for activities and can always be found practicing or teaching down at the course or on the ice. Brad is married to Claire, and they have two children. Kailey, who now resides in Whitefish, Montana with her husband Andy and their son Miles, who are both Chiropractors and own Compass Chiropractic, and Connor who lives in Saskatchewan where he is a finance manager in the automotive industry.

Brett Johnson

Brett was born and raised in Lethbridge, AB. After completing his Bachelor of Management degree at the University of Lethbridge in 2003, he was hired by BMO Nesbitt Burns as an Investment Associate. After a short time at BMO Nesbitt Burns, Brett's team opened National Bank Financials' first office in Lethbridge, in 2005. It is there that Brett built his career in the Wealth Management industry over the course of 16 years. In 2015, Brett completed his Portfolio Manager's (CIM) designation and in 2018 was awarded the Portfolio Manager of the Year award for National Bank Financial. In 2020, Brett completed his Qualified Associate Financial Planners (QAFP) designation. Brett's team merged with Cox Financial Group in 2021 and his focus continues to be discretionary portfolio management within the team. Brett is married to his high school sweetheart, Michelle. They have 2 amazing kids - Brody and Natalie, both whom keep Brett & Michelle busy with hockey, ringette and soccer. In Brett's spare time, he enjoys being on the golf course or ski hill but his true passions are fishing and hunting.

Chrstine Carriere

Christine graduated from the University of Lethbridge with her Bachelor of Management Degree in April 2013 and started working with Brett Johnson in May 2013. Since 2013 she has completed the Canadian Securities (CSC) and Wealth Management Essential (WME) courses, and most recently has become a Qualified Associate Financial Planner (QAFP) under the Financial Planning Standards Council.

Geoff Cox

Developing strong working relationships as a trusted advisor with business owners, professionals and their families has been a passion for Geoff since joining Cox Financial Group in 1981. Learning about people's personal and financial goals and then helping develop strategies to achieve them has been, and continues to be a fun, rewarding experience. Family is important to Geoff and he has found it rewarding to be able to work with his father, brother and son while providing service to multi generational clients and their families. Geoff is excited to be able to work with PJ, Brett and their teams which positions Cox Financial Group to be able to provide excellent, trusted advice for generations to come. Away from the office Geoff and his wife Andrea love to spend time with their growing family and friends, while travelling and trying to keep healthy by being active daily.

Jared Cox

Jared joined the team in 2012 after graduating from the University of Lethbridge. Jared has continued to expand his knowledge by completing industry designations including Certified Employee Benefits Specialist (CEBS), Chartered Life Underwriter (CLU), Certified Health Insurance Specialist (CHS) and is currently a member of key industry groups including The Benefits Alliance Group, CALU and Advocis. He enjoys developing relationships with the business and political community as an advocate for business and is also a past Chair of the Lethbridge Chamber of Commerce. Outside of work Jared enjoys spending time with his wife and kids golfing, skiing and travelling.

Lindsey Heggedal

Job Titles:

Lindsey came over to Cox Financial Group during the merger with Lynch Financial Services in 2020. Prior to that she had been with Lynch Financial Services since 2015. Her main focus with the team is providing exceptional client service and offering guidance with individual healthcare options. Lindsey's background is in a variety of other industries including emergency services, administrative support and the hospitality industry. In her spare time she volunteers for a local animal rescue, enjoys camping and hiking in the mountains with her spouse and dogs.

PJ Lynch

PJ was born and raised in Halifax, Nova Scotia and moved to Lethbridge in 2001 to play hockey for the Lethbridge Pronghorns. He met his beautiful wife Ashley in University and they now have 3 children, Brooklyn, Harper and Parker. PJ has been in the insurance and financial planning business since 2005 and founded Lynch Financial in 2010, which merged with Cox Financial group in 2020. PJ received his Bachelor of Management degree from the University of Lethbridge in 2005 and earned his CLU and CHS designations in 2014. His main area of specialty is Insurance and Estate Planning. Away from the office PJ enjoys spending time with his family golfing, skiing and watching his kids play sports.

Tyler Demers

Tyler grew up in Lethbridge and has been with Cox Financial Group since 2007 working in all aspects of the business including investments, benefits & pension, insurance and estate planning. He has always felt that ongoing education is important to stay on top of new ideas and changes in the marketplace. After graduating from the University of Calgary with a Bachelor of Commerce, Tyler has earned his CFP, FMA, CIM and CEBS designations. Tyler currently sits on the Board of Trustees for the Lethbridge School Division. In his spare time he enjoys travelling, hockey, softball and watching his two sons play lacrosse and baseball.
