Emily Bedoya

Attorney Emily Bedoya earned her undergraduate degree in Comparative Politics from the University of Central Florida and a Juris Doctorate from The Catholic University of America, Columbus School of Law. She has volunteered her time at the Veteran Advocacy and Estate Planning Clinic and as a court-appointed special advocate for Charles County. Attorney Bedoya is fluent in Portuguese and Spanish and is a member of the International Association of Privacy Professionals.

Mahdis Moharami

Law Clerk Mahdis Moharami received a Bachelor of Laws degree from Shahid Beheshti University in Tehran. She later received a Master of Laws with a concentration in International Business Law from the London School of Economics and Political Science. Mahdis attends UCLA School of Law in Los Angeles and will soon be eligible for the California bar.

Nicholas Wilt

Firm Manager Nicholas Wilt studied business and finance at George Mason University and the University of Pittsburgh. He has worked for Fortune 500 companies as well as private startups in emerging markets. Nicholas is not a lawyer, and he manages all business and financial matters for the firm. He believes that decisive action and a unified front of strength and power are the keys to successful outcomes and enjoys serving clients by aligning them with extraordinary legal representation.

Richard S. Toikka - Chief Legal Officer

Senior Counsel Richard S. Toikka received a Bachelor of Arts degree from Harvard College, a Master of Arts and Ph.D. from the University of Wisconsin, and a J.D. from Georgetown University. He has been practicing law in the DC area for over 40 years with a focus on Intellectual Property, Litigation, Regulatory, and Corporate Law. He has also been published in numerous professional journals and legal periodicals, including the American Economic Review, the Swedish Journal of Economics, the Journal of Economic Theory and the Journal of the Patent and Trademark Office Society. Attorney Toikka has been awarded many times for his professional endeavors and is an esteemed member of the DC legal community.

Theresa Kraft

Managing Attorney Theresa Kraft received a Bachelor of Arts degree from Nova Southeastern University, a Master of Arts degree in American History from Florida Atlantic University, and a J.D. from Nova Southeastern University. Attorney Kraft has a background in federal appellate litigation for general legal matters including labor and employment law, education law, disability law, and civil rights law. With more than 18 years of experience, her analysis of case merits and novel legal strategies allow clients to realize favorable outcomes. Attorney Kraft is innovative in her approach to the law and has learned that in order to win, you must always think outside of the box.

Valerie Wilt

Senior Accountant Valerie Wilt received her B.S. in Accounting from Pennsylvania State University and began her career in public accounting. She has worked for numerous privately held and Fortune 100 companies primarily as CFO, Senior Vice President, and Comptroller. Val has served as a member of the audit committee on multiple corporate boards. She uses her specialized knowledge and investigative skills to collect, analyze, and evaluate evidential matter when there are allegations of fraud and claims for economic damages.
