I started my career as an electrician while I was still in high school via the Registered Apprentice Program. After graduation, I stayed in the trade for 20 years. I earned journeyperson status, advanced to a Master Electrician, and attained my Blue Seal certificate while fulfilling a foreman role for 13 years. In 2021, I made the decision to follow my passion, change careers, and become a brewmaster... I started home brewing from kits 10 years ago. Once I got the basics down, I started modifying the recipes and began to truly enjoy channeling my creativity into my beer making. Eventually I bought all my own equipment and became even more invested. I now make all my beer from scratch, according to my own recipes, and to largely positive reviews. The Brewmaster & Brewery Operations program at Olds College is guiding me as I hone my skills as a brewer and gain experience with commercial brewing equipment and learn more about the industry...
