Angela L. Talton

Angela L. Talton is the Chief Diversity Officer for Nielsen. Appointed to this role in November, 2015, Angela is responsible for Nielsen's global strategy for diversity and inclusion initiatives; multicultural communications, advertising & brand awareness; and strategic community alliances and multicultural engagements. Prior to this role, Angela was Nielsen's Senior Vice President, Global Diversity & Inclusion. During her tenure in this role, Nielsen progressively improved its ranking to become one of the top companies for diversity and inclusion on DiversityInc's Top 50 Companies list, Diversity MBA's Best Companies for Diversity and Inclusion, Disability Equality Index Best Places to Work, Fortune's Best Places to Work for Millennials, Fortune's Best Places to Work for Diversity, and in achieving a 100 score on the Human Rights Campaign Corporate Equality Index. Angela was elected Chair of The Conference Board's Council of Global Diversity & Inclusion Executives in March, 2015. In 2015, she received the Diversity Woman's "Stars who mean Business" Rising Star Award. Additionally, in 2016, 2014 and 2012, she was recognized by Savoy Magazine as one of Top Influential Women in Corporate America and in 2012 Diversity MBA Magazine named her one of the Top 100 under 50 Diverse Executive Leaders. Angela joined Nielsen in 2007 as Senior Vice President for Global Call Center Operations, COE where she chartered a major transformation agenda for the Call Centers that focused on customer service, associate engagement, simplifying work activities and operational excellence. Angela received the Arthur C. Nielsen Chairman's Award in 2009 for the operational excellence demonstrated by this transformation. Angela has over 17 years operations, four years diversity & inclusion, two years IT, and six years financial reporting experience. She came to Nielsen from Sears Holdings Corporation in Hoffman Estates, IL, where she served as Divisional Vice President, Inbound Services & Operations. Prior to joining Sears in 2001, she was Vice President, Business Processes at ALLTEL Communications, Inc. in Little Rock, AR. She holds a Masters of Business Administration degree from the Kellogg School of Management, Northwestern University in Evanston, IL, and a Bachelor of Science degree in Business Administration from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill. Angela is a native of Greensboro, NC.

David A. Jones - CHRO, EVP

David serves as the EVP and Chief Human Resources officer and has overall system-wide responsibility for establishing, enabling, and maintaining organizational effectiveness and a positive employee and labor relations environment across WellStar Health System. He is responsible for providing senior executive leadership and oversight for the delivery of HR solutions to the business, including: human capital strategy, culture design and change management, team effectiveness, workforce planning, performance management planning, succession management, diversity and inclusion, employee relations, and labor relation. In addition, he has indirect responsibility for effective delivery of operational HR processes such as talent acquisition, learning and development, and compensation administration, working with other HR leadership team member colleagues. David also serves as the functional HR leader for HR executives in the regions and national functions. David brings to this role nearly 30 years of strategic HR experience and expertise. He comes to WellStar from Kaiser Permanente where he spent the past 3.5 years in HR leadership positions, most recently in the role of senior vice president, HR Consulting. Prior to this, he was the vice president of human resources at Stanford university. David has also held HR leadership positions at Dignity Health (Formally Catholic healthcare west), Harvard university, Southern California Edison Company, and Georgetown University medical Center. David has a bachelor's in communication from Morehouse college, and a J.D. with emphasis in Labor and employment law from Howard University School of Law. He also has an LL.M. (Masters of Laws) in Labor and employment law from Georgetown University Law Center.

James E. Taylor

James E. Taylor is both Chief Diversity & Inclusion Officer & Chief Learning Officer at UPMC, one of the nation's largest and most successful integrated health systems. In his capacity as Chief Diversity & Inclusion Officer, Taylor is responsible for the development and implementation of strategic diversity initiatives which differentiate UPMC. To this end, Taylor executes leading-edge and next-generation diversity strategies to advance the organization's diversity management capability, and its national presence as a diversity leader. As Chief Learning Officer, Taylor is responsible for developing an integrated learning strategy that provides the organization with highly-effective and technologically-advanced employee learning, leadership development, and consultative services aligned to the institution's strategic priorities. Prior to joining UPMC, Taylor served as Chief Learning & Diversity Officer at Carolinas HealthCare System. In this role, Taylor was charged with ensuring the visibility and influence of diversity of Carolinas HealthCare System through the development of products and services that enhanced the cultural competence of the workforce, and improved its competitive position in the marketplace. Dr. Taylor has also served as Executive Director, Diversity Strategy Execution and Workplace Inclusion at Kaiser Permanente, the nation's largest managed care organization and not-for-profit health plan. Taylor earned both a doctorate and master's degree in Organizational Psychology from the California School of Professional Psychology at Alliant International University, and completed his undergraduate studies at Ithaca College in New York, where he now serves on the Board of Trustees. He also received an executive leadership certificate from the Harvard Business School of Harvard University. Taylor has been awarded for his work both within and outside of health care, as he is actively engaged in many philanthropic and community based endeavors, holding multiple board appointments and supporting numerous charitable activities.

Lauren Guthrie - VP

Lauren Guthrie is the Vice President of Global Inclusion, Diversity, Equity & Action for VF Corporation. Lauren is responsible for developing and operationalizing the strategic framework, guardrails and program development that drive VF's commitment to building a culture anchored in allyship, advocacy and belonging. She works closely with key talent management and business leaders to amplify social impact initiatives within VF, in direct support of the diverse associates, communities and consumers served by the VF portfolio of brands. Prior to joining VF, Lauren has held progressive merchandising and general management roles with global brands such as The North Face, Nike, Levi's, and Abercrombie & Fitch across a variety of businesses. Reginald J. Miller

Reginald J. Miller serves as the Senior Director of Global Inclusion and Diversity at VF Corporation where he directs, develops and operationalizes diversity and inclusion strategy with a focus on transformational change. Throughout his career, he has worked in a variety of different disciplines including supply chain, merchandising, project management. Prior to joining VF, Reggie served as Director, Diversity Strategy and Support, responsible for the D&I strategy, reporting, and consultation for all Walmart stores in the US. A US Army Veteran, he also served as a Supply Sergeant with deployments to Germany, Afghanistan, and Uzbekistan. Reggie holds a BS, Education - HR Development and a MS, Education - Workforce Development from the University of Arkansas. He also holds an MBA from Webster University. He is married to his wife, Jennifer, and has three children: RJ II (6) and twin girls, Malia and Olivia (2).
