Alejandro Andrade

Alejandro Andrade, MS, BCaBA, LABA has been with Dominion Care since November 2022 as an assistant behavior analyst and has been working in the field of Applied Behavior Analysis for almost three years. He started his experience with Applied Behavior Analysis in graduate school at Northern Michigan University, getting his master's degree in the field and doing research on traumatic brain injury while working as a student intern at the on-campus clinic then at a community mental health location. He is most proud of the experiences and opportunities he's been given to get where he is today. Alejandro likes to go outdoors and ride his bike in his free time along with reading. In the future, Alejandro would like to use what he's learned from his graduate studies and time at Dominion to work with children who have had a traumatic brain injury to rehabilitate and live functional lives in society.

Amelia Molly Tharpe

Amelia "Molly" Iracane is a supervise in Social Work providing outpatient mental health therapy to children, adolescents and adults between the ages of 5 and 80 years. Her counseling style utilizes an integrated approach, with focus on Person-Centered, Cognitive-Behavioral, Psychodynamic, and mindfulness based intervention. She takes pride in providing a warm, empathic, and nonjudgmental environment in which you can feel safe to explore relationship issues, life transitions, daily stressors, and trauma. She has experience working in the Behavioral Health field with a diverse population, including children, adolescents, and adults dealing with depression, anxiety, mood and personality disorders. Her professional experience includes working in inpatient psychiatric setting, substance abuse treatment facilities, outpatient therapy, and community settings, with both individuals and groups. Her most recent work has also included leading a mindfulness based curriculum to elementary school aged children focusing on emotion regulation tools. She received a B.S. from the University of Colorado at Boulder, and a Master's in Social Work from Virginia Commonwealth University. In her free time, she enjoys running, playing tennis, and spending time with her three children.

Anu Kuriakose

Anu Kuriakose is a licensed and board-certified behavior analyst. She currently leads the Chesterfield in-home team at Dominion Care. Anu received her Masters of Arts in Professional Behavior Analysis from Florida Institute of Technology in 2021.She has experience working with adults and children with mental health disorders, individuals on the autism spectrum, and other developmental delays since 2011. Anu is passionate about helping families connect and engage with their loved ones through parent training. She has supported her clients in a variety of settings including homes, schools, and an early intervention clinic. She has been part of the Dominion team since 2018. She loves learning new techniques and striving to grow as a clinician. Anu believes in celebrating every small step in the journey with her clients, their families, and her team members. Anu looks forward to working with therapy dogs in the near future. In her free time, she loves going to the beach, enjoying nature, and spending time with her loved ones.

Caitlin Duggan

Caitlin has a supportive, validating, client-centered, and trauma-informed approach in therapy. She enjoys working with adults, teens, and kids as young as four who are experiencing challenging life transitions, anxiety, grief, and issues with self-esteem and relationships. She has a strong background working with people from the LGBTQIAA population and young adults in particular. She often provides interventions from Cognitive-Behavioral Therapy, Child-Centered Play Therapy, Somatic Experiencing, Solution Focused Therapy, and more depending on your unique needs and strengths. Caitlin values a strong therapeutic relationship with her clients above all and loves learning about you from the start and over time. Caitlin received her Bachelor's in Psychology from Christopher Newport University and her Master's in Social Work from Virginia Commonwealth University. She has more than five years of experience working with individuals and families in community, hospital, and outpatient settings. Caitlin has been providing outpatient therapy in particular for more than two years. Caitlin loves her cats, spending time with friends and family, and exploring nature and the city.

Caroline Steimel

Caroline received her Bachelor of Science in Sociology with minors in Family Studies and Women, Gender, and Sexuality Studies from James Madison University, and went on to get her Master of Social Work from Virginia Commonwealth University. She has experience working with children, youth, adults, and families within the residential inpatient, community, and school settings. Caroline understands that you are the expert in your own life and her primary goal as a therapist is to empower you to find and achieve your personal definition of peace and fulfillment. Caroline utilizes concepts from CBT, feminist theory, play therapy, narrative theory, family systems theory, creative art therapy, and empowerment theory.

Emilie is a Richmond native with a passion for the autism community. She has over 10 years of experience in the field in a variety of different roles but truly found her passion in her role as Personnel Coordinator here at Dominion. Emilie has a special interest in employee satisfaction and recognition along with helping families gain access to the services they need. When Emilie is not at work, you can find her at the local farmers market, traveling with friends, or spending time with her dog Sadie.

Evan Blatt

Evan is an outpatient counseling resident at Dominion Care. He received his Bachelor's in Psychology at California State University, Monterey Bay in 2015, and his Master's in Clinical Mental Health Counseling at South University, Richmond in 2021. He has experience working and volunteering in pediatric and adult inpatient, community outpatient and adult convalescent settings. He works with teens and adults. His interests in counseling include skills training, PTSD, depression, anxiety, adjustment issues, substance use and relationship/family conflict. He uses a holistic, integrated style of counseling that combines traditional methods (CBT, person-centered, etc.) with mindfulness and other philosophical/spiritual concepts tailored to the client's interests and needs. His goal is to challenge and empower clients to help them lead more productive and fulfilling lives. He enjoys reading, cooking and anything related to music, movies and martial arts.

Jasmine Lackey

Jasmine studied at Virginia Commonwealth University receiving her Bachelors's and Master's in social work. As your therapist, Jasmine is dedicated to providing a trauma-informed, culturally affirming, and empowering therapeutic space for you to thrive and cultivate wellness. Jasmine works alongside you to identify strengths and collaboratively transform your pain into growth. Jasmine enjoys supporting individuals as they navigate life transitions, overcome anxiety and depression, learn to love themselves and heal from trauma. Jasmine utilizes various modalities and approaches to tailor a treatment plan specifically for you. Some of those included cognitive behavioral therapy, acceptance, and commitment therapy, mindfulness-based stress reduction, and solution-focused therapy.

Joseph Weaver III

Joseph Weaver III has been servicing adults and children in the mental health field since 2016 and servicing adults with substance abuse issues since 2020. Presently, Joseph is registered with the Virginia Board of Counseling as a Resident in Counseling, and as a Certified Substance Abuse Counselor-Trainee; additionally, Joseph is also registered with the Board of Psychology as a Certified Sex Offender Treatment Provider-Trainee. Joseph graduated with a Bachelor of Arts in Religious Studies and Philosophy from Virginia Union University in 2011; Master of Science in Criminal Justice and Public Administration from Liberty University in 2016; and Master of Education in Counselor Education from Virginia State University in 2022. Joseph's desire is to pursue a doctorate degree in counseling and psychological studies after he has become a Licensed Professional Counselor. Joseph exudes a holistic approach to the counseling profession and has a zeal for being an advocate for individuals to become more self-aware, finding their purpose in life, improving quality of life, progressing toward improving abilities to solve their own problems, addressing comorbid diagnoses, being mindful of the multicultural aspect of counseling, and upholding ethical standards of the American Counseling Association. Existentialism, Narrative, Solution Focused, Gestalt, Person-Centered, and Cognitive Behavioral Therapy are some modalities that Joseph is keen on using in sessions. Katrina has been with Dominion Care since 2018. As our talent acquisition specialist for almost three years, Katrina has advanced to the HR Coordinator role. Her continued dedication to customer and client focus and teamwork is a huge asset to the HR team. She is from a military family and has lived in many states and now calls Virginia home. She graduated from high school in Germany and attended 2 years of college in Munich. Once back in the USA, she attended the University of Maryland. She is an avid photographer and loves to bake.

Katy Proffitt

My name is Katy Proffitt and I have been in the mental health field for 10+ years. I graduated with a Master's Degree in Social Work from Virginia Commonwealth University and I am currently under supervision for LCSW and CSAC licenses. Throughout this time, I have worked with adolescents, adults, and families. I have worked in the community and hospital settings, but my passion has always been in recovery and helping individuals with addiction and substance use issues. I recently fulfilled my dream when I joined the team at Dominion Care as Program Coordinator for Sequoia Substance Use IOP three months ago. I hope to help individuals in recovery find their dreams and regain stability in life. In my spare time I love to spend time with my dog, River and laugh with my friends and family.

LaToya is the Administrative Assistant at the Outpatient Services office. She brings to Dominion a wealth of experience in addition to several years of administrative and customer service skills. She loves engaging with our patients and providing assistance in any way possible. She possesses a caring, compassionate demeanor while maintaining a sense of integrity that governs her decision making. LaToya often displays her passion and love for children. She diligently seeks to demonstrate that care and concern by being supportive and attentive. She is also very engaging in the clients interest while they are waiting to be seen in our offices. When LaToya is not governing the Outpatient Lobby, she enjoys spending time with family and friends. She also enjoys traveling and cooking meals for her loved ones.

Lauren is the Program Director for our Outpatient Department, however she has worn multiple hats throughout her 10 years here at Dominion. She started off as a TDT QMHP in 2012, but over time fell in love with the operational components of Dominion Care and has been assisting with program development ever since! Magda Evans

Magda received her Bachelor of Science from Virginia Commonwealth University and Master's in Clinical Mental Health Counseling from Liberty University. She began her work in the mental health field as a volunteer for the Crisis Text Line. She then became involved in community-based counseling during her internship and gained experience working with children, adolescents, adults, and families. Upon graduation she began her residency and has provided outpatient therapy services. Magda has experience working with depression, anxiety, trauma, PTSD, and self-injurious behaviors. Magda utilizes a person-centered approach to best meet the needs of each individual. She creates a safe space to empower individuals in growth to achieve their goals.

Pamela Seward

Pam received her Bachelors in Psychology and Master of Social Work from Virginia Commonwealth University and then pursued her LCSW. She has experience working with children, youth, adults, and families within acute inpatient, crisis, in home, schools, and the community. Her treatment modalities include a strengths passed perspective, trauma informed interventions, cognitive behavioral strategies, play, narrative story, family systems, motivational interviewing, and a variety of creative expressive interventions. Pam has extensive experiences working with survivors of childhood sexual abuse, neglect, and with adoptive and foster families. She has a focus on the importance of strengthening the quality of attachment between a child and caregiver. Pam is also a member of the Richmond Trauma Informed Community Network spreading awareness about the impact of trauma on the brain, behaviors, health and resiliency. She enjoys animals and hopes to one day have a therapy dog.

Tracy Wickham is a Licensed Clinical Social Worker at Dominion Care Outpatient. Tracy has worked with diverse client populations throughout the years. She now works primarily with older adolescents and adults. She also has experience working with trauma and veteran's issues. Tracy utilizes a variety of therapeutic approaches such as Psychoanalytic Therapy, Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, and Person Centered Therapy as well as others based on the needs of the individual.
