DUTCH GUITAR FOUNDATION

Our mission is to develop a sustainable platform that will support and promote the classical guitar performance, education and research in the Netherlands. DGF is committed to inspiring the excellence and artistic mastery of the highest level and bringing it to the audience... We are dedicated to cultivating the art of classical guitar in the Netherlands by organising concerts, masterclasses, conferences, festival and international competition. We strive to preserve the national heritage of the instrument and build international relationships with prominent guitar centres... As a foundation, we organise two concert series for classical guitar in the Netherlands, each with three concerts a year. In these series, we aim for high musicality quality combined with a stepping stone for upcoming international talents. The series take place in Groningen and in Zwolle (formerly in Apeldoorn).
