DYNAMIX - Key Persons
Chelsea Binkley was born in Memphis and raised in Ripley, Tennessee. She attended Halls High School and then pursued a career as a physical therapy assistant. She received her PTA degree from Jackson State Community College in 2016.
When choosing what she wanted to do as a career, Chelsea knew she wanted to do something where she could help people achieve their goals and return living their lives pain-free. Being a PTA, she is able to do that with all of the clients who walk through the doors of Dyanmix in Brownsville.
In her free time, Chelsea enjoys traveling and spending time with her friends, family and animals!

Cory Wilcox was born in the suburbs of Chicago, before moving to Martin, TN while in elementary school. He graduated from Westview High School and completed his undergraduate studies at the University of Tennessee at Martin. He completed graduate school at The University of Tennessee Health Science Center receiving a Doctorate of Physical Therapy degree. Cory participated in several sports, with a heavy focus on baseball by the time he reached high school. While playing baseball, he was first introduced to physical therapy through various sporting injuries. It was from these injuries and rehabilitation that he decided to pursue physical therapy as a profession and remain involved with helping young athletes.
Following earning his doctorate, Cory began practicing in the outpatient setting where he developed a passion for manual physical therapy. Cory has excelled in his manual therapy training, earning his advanced dry needling certification (Cert-DN) through the Dry Needling Institute as well as receiving advanced spinal manipulative training through the Spinal Manipulation Institute. Cory is on a path to become a Certified Integrated Manual Therapist (CIMT) through Great Lakes Seminars, a designation held by less than 150 clinicians nationally. Cory is a senior therapist who regularly sacrifices his time mentoring young therapists through Dynamix University, a residency program within Dynamix. He is an emerging leader and clinical expert in outpatient rehabilitation.
Cory, like all Dynamix team members keeps a very active lifestyle outside of the clinic. He enjoys traveling with his wife, riding motorcycles, exercising, and golfing. Cory has an appetite for growth not only professionally but also personally. He believes in the value of hard work and has a unique determination to succeed.

Dean was born in Landstuhl, Germany as a military kid, then spent his early childhood in Louisiana before transplanting to Tennessee. He graduated from White County High School and attended Tennessee Tech in Cookeville before entering the Air Force in 2008 as a Security Forces officer, stationed in Germany and Washington state.
In 2012, Dean exited the USAF and returned to TTU to complete his degree in Exercise Science, Physical Education, and Wellness, then headed straight to Physical Therapy school at UT Health Science Center in Memphis in 2014. During grad school, he met his wife Kellye and two weeks after graduation in 2017, he and his wife welcomed their first son, Kolten. His second son, Dawsen, joined the party less than 2 years later in 2019.
Dean has worked in outpatient physical therapy since graduating, even opening his own practice in early 2019 that he later sold in late 2020. He decided to join Dynamix in June of 2022 for the great team, atmosphere, and leadership's focus on training the best therapists in the business!
Edric Gaylor grew up in Dyersburg, Tenn., where he graduated from Dyersburg High School in 2004. He received his Bachelors of Science degree in Biology from Union University in 2008, and then attended the University of Tennessee Health Science Center where he earned his Doctorate of Physical Therapy in 2011.
Edric has practiced in the outpatient orthopedic setting since graduation and has been a member of the Dynamix team since 2013. He has a particular interest in manual therapy and has been recognized as a Certified Integrated Manual Therapist (CIMT) through Great Lakes Seminars. He is also certified in dry needling (Cert. DN) through the Dry Needling Institute. Edric has a special passion for teaching and empowering others. He coordinates the Matrix, which is a mentorship program for all new professional team members of Dynamix.
Edric enjoys spending time with family and friends (especially his daughter Riley), watching sports, playing fantasy football and listening to a variety of music.
Elena Taylor was raised in Abilene, Texas, where she attended Abilene High School- Go Eagles! She received her Bachelor of Science degree in Kinesiology with a minor in psychology from Abilene Christian University in 2012. She completed her Masters of Occupational Therapy in 2018. Elena enjoyed working in long-term care and acute care before transitioning into outpatient service with Dynamix Physical Therapy.
Elena enjoys baking, reading, traveling the world and going out to the lake.
Fabiola is currently a resident of Brownsville where she lives with her husband, Juan Escobar.
She started working for Dynamix in 2014. She is very passionate about her career in physical therapy and cannot wait to help people reach their goals.
Fabiola enjoys working out, spending time with her husband and family, working with the youth group at St. John's Catholic, and reading.
Felecia Hall was born and raised in Dyersburg, Tenn., where she continues to reside with her husband. She has two girls and four grandchildren. She attended Dyer County High School where she was a member of the Lady Choctaws basketball team. Felecia attended DSCC where she was a member of phi Theta Kappa. She then attended Jackson State Community College where she completed the PTA program.
Felecia has work experience in the acute, skilled and outpatient settings as well as therapy management. She has owned her own Pilates studio and continues to teach Pilates weekly. Felecia loves her career and believes people may forget what you said or what you did, but people will never forget how you made them feel.
Haley is from Florence, Alabama and relocated to West Tennessee in June of 2022. She graduated from the PTA program at Calhoun Community College in Decatur, Alabama in 2018. Haley has spent the majority of her career working with the pediatric population before transitioning to Dynamix Physical Therapy. During her free time Haley loves traveling and spending time with her family and friends, husband Kaleb, and dog Beck.
Heath Ladd - Founder, President
Heath Ladd was born and raised in Newbern, Tennessee, where he attended Dyer County High School. He graduated from Middle Tennessee State University with a Bachelor of Science degree and from University of Tennessee Health Science Center as a Master of Physical Therapy.
He was recognized by the American Physical Therapy Association (APTA) as a Board Certified Specialist in Orthopedics in June of 2008, a distinction that only 2% of therapists nationwide have earned. He was recognized as a Certified Integrated Manual Therapist (CIMT), a distinction held by approximately 120 clinicians worldwide. In 2017, Heath earned his certification in dry needling (Cert. DN) and continues to pursue advanced levels of treatment of the spine and peripheral conditions through the Spinal Manipulation Institute and American Academy of Manipulative Therapy.
Heath has served as a guest lecturer/speaker for Union University, Bethel University, Kroger, Gibson County Youth Leadership, Gibson County Adult Leadership, several local high schools, multiple civic organizations, and has appeared on national podcasts related to business and the physical therapy profession.
Jeffrey Starks was born and raised in Brownsville, Tennessee. After graduating high school, Jeffrey attended the University of Tennessee at Chattanooga and received his Bachelor of Science in Exercise Science. He then completed his degree for PTA school at Daymar College in 2022.
Jeffrey has been a patient care ambassador at the Dynamix in Brownsville for over a year before he pursued his degree as a physical therapist assistant. He is a PTA in the Brownsville and Millington clinics.
Jennifer Cooley was born and raised in Troy, TN. She graduated from Obion County Central High School in 2006 where she was a member of the Lady Rebel basketball team. She played one year of college basketball at Rhodes College in Memphis, TN. Jennifer then transferred to Murray State University in Murray, KY where she received a Bachelor of Exercise Science degree in 2011 with an emphasis in Athletic Training. Jennifer was honored to serve as an athletic training intern at the ESPN Wide World of Sports Complex at Disney World during the fall of 2011. After deciding to broaden her clinical abilities, she then received an associate degree from West Kentucky Community and Technical College and graduated from the Physical Therapist Assistant program in 2014.
Jennifer has previously worked in a privately-owned orthopedic physician practice and served as a clinical and surgical assistant as well as provided sports medicine coverage for all Obion County Schools for over 6 years.
Jennifer and her husband, Adam, live in Troy, TN and have one son, Connor, who was born in June of 2017. She is a diehard Lady Vols basketball fan and enjoys playing with her son, watching ridiculous reality shows, and spending time with her family and friends.
Jessica was born and raised in Paris. She is married to Brandon and they have a son, Connor. They currently reside in Buchanan.
Jessica graduated from Union University in 2013 with her Bachelors of Science Degree in Athletic Training. She then continued her education at Kent State University in Ashtabula, Ohio where she received her Associates of Science Degree in 2018 from a transition program for Athletic Trainers to become Physical Therapist Assistants. She is currently dual licensed in both Athletic Training and PTA.
Jessica enjoys the beach, traveling to new places, and spending time with friends and family.
Kody Groves grew up in Bethesda, Tennessee where he attended Page High school. He played football and wrestled throughout high school.
After high school, Kody went into the Army and graduated from airborne school and received his airborne wings. After the army, he attended and graduated from the University of Tennessee at Martin with a Bachelor's of Science in Health and Human Performance with a concentration in exercise science in 2018. Kody went on to graduate from the University of Tennessee Health Science Center with a Doctorate of Physical Therapy in May 2022.
In his free time, Kody enjoys playing golf, hunting, going out on the lake and watching SEC football (Go Vols!). He focuses on the his top three things: Faith, Family and Football.
Lorna Bethel is married to Adam Bethel and they live in Greenfield, Tennessee. Lorna is a 2012 graduate from Trenton Peabody High School. She played basketball, softball and volleyball while in high school. She was first introduced to the Dynamix Physical Therapy team when she received treatment for a sports injury. She went on to play college basketball at Bethel University and obtained a Bachelor of Science in Athletic Training degree in 2016. She is also a 2020 graduate of Jackson State Community College with an Associate degree in PTA. Lorna is a Physical Therapist Assistant and a Certified/Licensed Athletic Trainer. Lorna has been working with Dynamix since September of 2016 first as a physical therapist technician, and now as an athletic trainer and PTA.
Lorna enjoys spending time with her husband/family/friends, working out, watching sports and reading books.
Luke Williams grew up in Sikeston, MO and attended Sikeston High School where he played football, basketball, and baseball. Participating in high school sports is where Luke first became interested in physical therapy since he had multiple injuries throughout his high school career and had to make frequent visits to the local physical therapy clinic. He attended Arkansas State University in Jonesboro where he received a bachelor's degree in Exercise Science in 2019. He then returned to Arkansas State University for graduate school and graduated with my Doctor of Physical Therapy in 2022.
Luke enjoys manual therapy and working with athletes and looks forward to helping patients get back to the activities they love. His faith is very important to him and he is excited to get involved in a local church in the area.
In his free time, Luke enjoys playing golf and soccer, watching movies, and working out. He is also a very big fan of Chelsea FC, the St Louis Blues, and the St Louis Cardinals.
Matt Scott was born and raised in Brighton, Tennessee where he graduated high school in 2013. He played baseball at Dyersburg State Community College for two years where he developed interest in physical therapy after being injured on two separate occasions. He went on to the University of Memphis where he graduated with his bachelor's degree in Exercise Science. Matt then proceeded to obtain his Doctorate of Physical Therapy at Texas Tech Health Sciences Center.
Matt has a special interest in manual therapy and helping athletes return to sport. In his spare time, he enjoys hunting, fishing and any excuse to get outdoors.
Matt Washburn was born in Martin, TN. He spent a portion of his childhood in Fort Worth, TX before moving back to Martin where he later graduated from Westview High School. Matt went on to attend University of Tennessee at Martin and graduated in 2002 from University of Tennessee Health Science Center as a Master of Physical Therapy.
Growing up playing multiple sports, including baseball, basketball, and soccer, Matt has always had an interest in training, teamwork, and rehabilitation. He continues to enjoy playing sports, although now it is more likely to be with his daughters in the yard. He also enjoys strength training, hiking, hunting, and the occasional 5k.
Matt joined the Dynamix team in September 2017 with an extensive background in physical therapy. Possessing a vitae primarily split between outpatient orthopedics and home health care, including management in both fields, his passion remains in helping clients return to participating in their joys in life.
Melanie Peggs was raised in Savannah, Tennessee. After graduating from Hardin County High School, Melanie attended the University of Tennessee in Knoxville where she received her bachelor's degree in Social Work in 2010. Immediately following graduation, she decided to serve as a campus ministry intern at the UT Knoxville and later went on to work in the field of Human Resources and administration. In 2016, Melanie decided to go back to school and pursue a career in physical therapy after realizing this profession perfectly encompassed all that she wanted in a career.
Melanie's decision to change careers was also influenced by her own personal experience with physical therapy when a debilitating back injury left her feeling helpless at the age of 25. She remembers the treating physical therapist asking such specific and pertinent questions that it left her speechless and fascinated by his understanding of her condition. She still recalls the confidence and hope he gave her for recovery with proper therapy and now hopes that she can do the same for her current and future patients.
In her free time, Melanie enjoys many outdoor activities like kayaking, hiking, biking, and hammocking. Any time spent with family and friends is icing on the cake! In addition, she enjoys playing with her new fur baby, Honey, (a one year old German Shepherd/chocolate lab mix) who is every bit as sweet as she is hyper!
Mykie joined the Dynamix team in 2012. She is originally from South Carolina and pursued undergraduate studies at Clemson University and graduated with a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration from Winthrop University.
Mykie has a business career spanning 30 years in several fields including: BASF Aerospace, Merrill Lynch, and Hickman Realty Group. Mykie has found a true calling in the healthcare industry and currently serves as the Vice President of Operations for Dynamix Physical Therapy.
In this role, she is responsible for organization management and clinic performance consistent with Dynamix's mission. Mykie has completed extensive training in financial, insurance, and healthcare policy to provide the most relevant information to the Dynamix team and customers.
Mykie and her husband, Mitch, reside in Milan, TN with their two children, Miles and Makala. She enjoys working, reading, and spending time with friends and family at the lake.

Nick grew up in Germantown, Tennessee before attending the University of Tennessee at Knoxville. He graduated from UTK in 2004 with a Bachelor of Science degree focusing on Exercise Science. During his time in Knoxville, Nick worked and volunteered in several areas of orthopedic rehab including outpatient physical therapy, sports medicine, and pediatric physical therapy. He then attended the University of Tennessee Health Science Center in Memphis, graduating with a Doctorate of Physical Therapy degree in 2007.
Following graduation, Nick completed over 100 hours of coursework and manual therapy training to become certified in the McKenzie Method of Mechanical Diagnosis & Therapy. He uses the McKenzie Method for assessment and treatment to obtain optimal outcomes for his patients. Nick is also credentialed in dry needling and is working towards an advanced certification in manual therapy as a Certified Integrated Manual Therapist (CIMT). Nick is a member of the American Physical Therapy Association (APTA) and the Private Practice Section (PPS) of the APTA. Through PPS, he has worked as a key contact to federal and state legislators to advocate for improved patient access to physical therapy.
As the Vice President of Clinical Development, Nick mentors our new therapists through Dynamix University. This is a one-year onboarding program designed to develop therapists to become providers of an exceptional customer experience through service and care that is unparalleled in the physical therapy industry. He also plans and coordinates the unique professional and personal developments programs and CEs offered through Dynamix. Providing this care to our customers is the backbone to the Dynamix experience.
Nick lives in Jackson and enjoys spending time with his wife and children. He enjoys attending sporting events with his family including University of Tennessee football and St. Louis Cardinals baseball games.
Ross Pope was born and raised in Trimble, Tennessee. Ross graduated from Dyer County High School and received his bachelor's degree from the University of Tennessee at Martin. Ross then received his Doctorate of Physical Therapy from the University of Tennessee Health Science Center in Memphis.
Ross has a particular interest in sports and manual physical therapy. Through vigorous coursework over the past years, Ross became certified in manual therapy through Great Lakes Seminars. This certification placed him among 306 physical therapist worldwide and earned him the distinguished certification as a Certified Integrated Manual Therapist (CIMT). Ross is also certified in dry needling through the Dry Needling Institute. When not in clinic, Ross enjoys structuring and implementation sport performance programs, hosting the annual Dynamix "combine", and providing sports medicine for partner schools.
Ross enjoys working out, playing golf ,spending time with friends, and attending Arkansas Razorback sporting events. Ross is involved in the Gibson Co. Chamber, Trenton Rotary Club, a YMCA board member , and member of the APTA.
Ross and his wife Mallory reside in Trenton, Tennessee, and have two daughters, Evelyn and Darcy.

Russ Huffstetler was born in a small Tennessee town to entrepreneurial parents. He learned early the importance of a passionate pursuit of excellence through sports participation. Throughout his early years, he learned the importance of teamwork and dedication to any challenge. Russ was introduced to physical therapy through sports rehabilitation following a few non-serious injuries. He decided to pursue a career in physical therapy through undergraduate study at the University of Tennessee at Martin, followed by acceptance into the physical therapy program at the University of Tennessee Health Science Center in Memphis.
Graduating with a Master of Physical Therapy in 2004, Russ was awarded a Doctorate of Physical Therapy in 2005. Russ began practicing in Nashville, Tennessee in general orthopedics, and then moved into a sport-specific practice in conjunction with the Tennessee Titans' team physician, working with athletes of all levels (high school, college, professional, post-professional, and recreational). A desire to offer big city care and unmatched service and expertise in his home of Northwest Tennessee led Russ back to Milan, Tennessee in 2007. Russ met Heath Ladd, immediately becoming friends then business partners.
Russ has extensive training in manual therapy using an integrative approach. He has completed specialized training and been recognized as a Certified Integrated Manual Therapist (CIMT). This is a designation held by less than 120 clinicians nationally. He also has advanced training in spinal manipulative therapy and received his certification in dry needling (Cert. DN) through the Spinal Manipulation Institute and Dry Needling Institute respectively. Russ has a particular interest and expertise in spinal rehabilitation and sport rehabilitation/performance. Russ is a member of the American Physical Therapy Association (APTA), Tennessee Physical Therapy Association (TPTA) and Private Practice Section (PPS) of the APTA.
Russ is passionate about all things business and leadership including books, podcasts, audiobooks, and just simple lessons learned each and every day in unexpected places. He has participated in speaking engagements and has been a guest on a national physical therapy podcast. He believes in giving back as "we make a living by what we get, but we make a life by what we give." This motto has led to service on community boards as well as active participation in his church. Russ finds joy spending time with his wife Sarah Beth, son Henry, and daughter Mary-Todd. When Russ needs peace and quiet, he retreats to his family farm in Greenfield, Tennessee. There he enjoys helping on the farm, multiple hunting opportunities and fellowship with family and friends.
