The Elder Dental Group was originally founded in 1946 by Dr. Robert Byrd Moore. Dr. Herman Elder purchased the practice in 1977 and moved it to its current location on Prince Avenue in 1986. Dr. Matthew Elder joined the practice in 1996 after his graduation from dental school. The practice merged with the practice of Dr. Alan Hixon in 2008 after Dr. Hixon's retirement...
