Denis St-Pierre joined EPR Bathurst/Péninsule in January 2002 after two years with one of the country's largest firms. Prior to this, he worked for six years at the Canada Revenue Agency. He brings more than 25 years of experience to EPR Bathurst/Péninsule as a tax expert specializing in the support of companies under review in all litigation with the Canada Revenue Agency, testamentary successions, and manager-owner relationships, including disputes and right to compensation, to name the most common areas. He is often called upon to arbitrate family disputes related to business and to advise clients on setting the selling price of a business or developing strategies for the squeeze-out of shareholders.
A graduate of the Université de Moncton (BBA) and certified CPA, he completed specialized courses in taxation and corporate reorganization from 2000 to 2007. He is a member of CPA Canada's Small and Medium Practitioners Tax Committee and former governor of the Canadian Tax Foundation.
Gilles Deveaux joined EPR Bathurst/Péninsule in October 2007 after more than 10 years in one of the country's five largest chartered accounting firms. With more than 20 years of experience in public practice, he has developed expertise in the fields of insurance and preparation of corporate tax returns and as an adviser to business owners. His expertise extends to varied fields, including municipalities, non-profit organizations, manufacturing and construction companies, dealerships and financial corporations.
A graduate of the Université de Moncton (BBA) and certified CPA by the Atlantic School of Chartered Accountants, he is actively involved in the Greater Bathurst Chamber of Commerce and the Rotary Club of Bathurst, and he served as vice-president of the EPR Canada Accounting Group.
