Anthony Flot

Anthony Flot is currently the Chief Information Security Officer for AHCCCS (Arizona Health Care Cost Containment System), Arizona's Medicaid agency. AHCCCS was Anthony's first entry into government, which he began in 2017 as the Information Technology Manager. Prior to coming to work for AHCCCS, Anthony worked over 20 years in the financial services technology realm. He worked as a technician, an engineer, a lead, manager, and technical project manager. Anthony built his career on meeting business needs by making complex technology simple. He takes pride in getting to know the business and finding the technology that meets a need or improves on a current process. In the technology field, much like in business, you must always be looking to improve and evolve. Anthony's passion for technology has always driven him to keep at the forefront of the industry and to apply that knowledge to meet business needs.

Jeff Hickman

Jeff Hickman has served as the Information Security Officer (ISO) for the Arizona State Retirement System (ASRS) since January 2018. Prior to being appointed the ISO, Jeff served as Internet Developer, Java Developer, Project Lead, and System Architect for the ASRS. Jeff has over 25 years of Information Technology and Information Management experience at market research/telemarketing companies, Best Buy headquarters, and public sector work at the Minnesota Department of Corrections. His areas of specialty are Oracle Database Administration, SQL Server Database Administration, Software Development, System Design/Architecture, Configuration Management, Docker, and DevOps.

Kristina Jensen

Kristina Jensen started in state service in 1998; initially she was hired as a paralegal in the underground storage tank program at the Arizona Department of Environmental Quality where she researched historic property and tank ownership, including research to determine access to the State's environmental clean-up fund, called the "SAF." Later, Kristina spent several years in the Natural Resources Section of the Arizona Attorney General's Office (AGO) assisting the lawyers representing the state's interest in the statewide water rights adjudication cases. In addition to the water rights work, Kristina also conducted extensive historical and legal research for the attorneys in the office and client agencies. It was during this time that she earned her Master's in Public Administration from Arizona State University. Shortly thereafter, she accepted a position with the Solicitor General's office within the AGO. There, Kristina assisted with appellate reviews, election law, and also provided legal research services as an assistant to the library director in the AGO law library. In 2015, Kristina accepted her current position of Deputy Director for the Arizona Medical Board. In the four years since she accepted this position, the role expanded and her duties increased. Among these additional duties is the day to day supervision of the Board's Information Technology team. Prior to public service, Kristina worked in the retail and wholesale grocery business. As a retail department manager and later as a wholesale product merchandiser, she developed superior management and customer service skills. Since she was a teenager, Kristina has always had an interest in technology and gadgets. Proficient in both Microsoft and Mac environments, Kristina embraces new technologies and always welcomes a new challenge. In her spare time, Kristina spends most of her time hiking, cycling, and spending time with her family. She also enjoys her hobbies of reading, stamp collecting and genealogical research.

Michael Searle

Michael Searle began his professional career in accounting, serving as Staff Auditor for Harvey's Casino and Resort. In 1988 he joined the ranks of the self employed and spent the next 27 years building two successful companies, Snuffy's Magical Clown Review and Fair Executives Company. Michael served on the Western Fairs Association board, as well as, former president and current board member for the Arizona Fairs Association and is an inductee into the Association's Hall of Fame. He currently serves as a public member on the Arizona State Board of Dispensing Opticians. After providing 15 years of management service to fairs across the Western United States, including managing the Maricopa County Fair for 11 years, Michael entered State service as the Comptroller for the Arizona State Fair and Exposition. Since 2015, Michael has served as the agency's Deputy Director.

Paula Mattingly

Paula Mattingly is Assistant Director/CIO for the Arizona Department of Health Services (ADHS). She has been with the department for 13 years and has been working to better align IT resources with agency priorities, to leverage technologies to improve agency performance, and to improve customer service. Her previous experience includes senior information technology management roles at Honeywell, and several computer consulting organizations. While at Honeywell's Satellite Systems Division she also managed their total quality initiative, during which time they received the Arizona Governor's award. She possesses over 35 years of experience in software development and management/project management within technical environments. She has a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration from Arizona State University. In 2014 she received an Outstanding CIO award from the Phoenix Business Journal in recognition of her efforts in implementing health information technology and Meaningful Use for public health.

Ryan Murrary

Ryan currently serves as the Deputy State CISO, Deputy Director Arizona Department of Homeland Security. Prior to joining the State in 2018, Ryan has worked for several other public sector agencies including the Maricopa County Office of Enterprise Technology, and the Maricopa County Clerk of the Superior Court. He has nearly 20 years experience in IT and Information Security. He is a Certified Information Systems Security Professional (CISSP) and holds several other technical certifications.
