Christy Farrar - Founder

Christy is the founder and owner of Farrar Consulting and has been in the healthcare industry for 30 years. She received her Bachelor of Science in Health Professions with a major in Health Care Administration from Texas State University. She began her career working in home health, where she hired and supervised a staff of over 200 throughout Central Texas, among other duties. Christy began her consulting career in 2010 and has successfully built multiple managed care networks for insurance plans across the nation. With a passion for assisting private practice owners, she began Farrar Consulting in April of 2014 and has successfully improved the managed care profile and financial bottom line of many medical practices nationwide, while easing their administrative burden and allowing them to focus on patient care. Christy lives in Richmond, Texas, with her husband Scott, and is the proud mom of Will, Allison and Mack. She enjoys going to the beach, entertaining, gardening and watching college football.

Colleen Mahoney

Colleen Mahoney has devoted over 25 years of her career to the medical field. She received her certification in Medical Assistance from the Sanford Brown Institute in Garden City, New York, after which she was a Medical Assistant who also handled billing and credentialing for a large OB/GYN practice. For over 10 years, her career has been in the Audiology field, focusing on medical practice billing and patient care coordination. She is passionate about helping others and is deeply committed to the hearing impaired due to a family history of traumatic hearing loss. Colleen currently lives on Long Island, New York, with her husband and two boys. In her free time, she enjoys spending time with family, running, crafting, and going to the beach.

David Moga - COO

David is a graduate from Keller Graduate School of Management, where he obtained a Master's in Business Administration with a concentration in Health Services. With over 30 years of experience in the healthcare industry, David has close to 20 years of credentialing experience. He has facilitated multiple NCQA certifications, all of which were approved. Additionally, he worked in managed care contracting, during which he structured and negotiated physician agreements with multiple health plans. He also has direct experience in Accountable Care Organizations and how they are managed from both a practice and an organizational perspective. David's knowledge of the Texas Medical Center combined with his knowledge of the greater Houston area physician networks gives him great insight into the variety of business models a medical practice can have, and how each type is best administered from a managed care standpoint. Originally from New Orleans, David now lives in Houston with his husband, Oliver. He enjoys traveling, entertaining, gardening and his dogs.

Dawn Gilliam

Dawn attended Columbia State Community College and University of Phoenix. She has spent over 20 years in the medical field, with over 15 of those dedicated to medical billing and coding. She has been a Billing Specialist for the Audiology, Internal Medicine, Pulmonology, Gastroenterology, Surgery, Pharmacy, and Lab industries, and has also handled accident-related injury claims. She has held the positions of Aging Accounts Specialist, HIPAA officer, Certified Patients Account Representative (CPAR), and Certified Pharmacy Tech (CPhT). She is well versed in Credentialing as well as Commercial, Medicaid and Medicare plans nationwide. Dawn currently lives on a farm in Columbia, Tennessee with her husband and three children. She loves the river and being out on their boat.

Kelly Davis

Kelly is a proud graduate of Texas State University, where along with a Bachelor's degree, she acquired lifelong skills that she has carried with her on her professional journey. Her background as a former business owner, knack for creating impeccable spreadsheets, developing effective systems, and focusing on even the most minute details makes her a strong asset to Farrar Consulting and all of the clients we serve. Kelly lives in the picturesque Texas Hill Country, and when she's not on conference calls or otherwise working away at her beloved Mac, you can typically find her somewhere near the water, checking out the latest local spots, or otherwise soaking up time with her two kids and goldendoodle named Boone.

Kinsey Mikeska

Kinsey graduated Cum Laude from Texas Tech University with a Bachelor of Arts in Advertising, Minor in Public Relations, and Certificate in Sports Media. Before entering the healthcare field, she began her career in advertising sales for digital and broadcast television, where she also held leadership positions for multiple committees and was very involved in the philanthropic efforts that served the greater good of her community. Kinsey provides managed care contracting and credentialing oversight for clients across the nation and manages our company's social media platforms. Her leadership skills, close attention to detail, and methodical approach make her a valuable asset to both Farrar Consulting and the private practices she serves. In Kinsey's free time, she enjoys watching sports, working out and traveling. Her favorite app is Pinterest, and she loves searching for new recipes, decor/fashion trends, DIY crafts, and more!

Lacey Ray

Lacey has worked in the healthcare field for over 15 years in both insurance and provider's offices. She received her Bachelor's degree in Human Development and Family Studies from the University of Houston. Along with her duties as a medical billing specialist, Lacey also facilitates new employee training for Farrar Consulting. Her mother was an Audiologist, and Lacey "helped" at the office when she was a child and went to conferences as a young adult. As a result, Lacey knows the value of helping others and has a love for traveling. When she and her husband aren't cooking together or on a road trip, she enjoys watching movies, going on walks, and crafting. Lacey lives outside of Austin, Texas with her family and many pets.

Lisa Grove

Lisa spent 14 years working for San Mateo County, California, in the Child Support Division as a case worker establishing and enforcing child support obligations, locating absent parents, and establishing paternity. After taking some time off to raise two children, she entered the medical field as a Medical Billing Specialist. Lisa has over 15 years of experience billing for physician groups over multiple specialties, helping them navigate the billing process and instilling best practices to ease their administrative burden and maximize revenue. Lisa lives in sunny California with her husband and two sons. She enjoys taking walks, hanging out with family and rooting for the San Francisco Giants!

Liz Costantino

As a Medical Billing Specialist for Farrar Consulting, Liz manages the complete revenue cycle for a multi-client workload across multiple regions of the United States. She strives for excellence and is committed to working alongside providers to maximize their revenue, streamline processes, and keep aging and rejected claims to a minimum. She also facilitates new employee training for Farrar Consulting. Liz also has 10 years of experience in community engagement, training, and women's health education. Liz resides on Long Island, New York, with her husband, two children and dog. She enjoys the outdoors, exploring, reading, and relaxing with family.

Marcie Ybarra

Savannah Smith

With nearly five years of health insurance experience, her management skills along with her understanding of the health care insurance industry makes her a valuable asset to any private medical practice. Her additional responsibilities also include facilitating new employee training for Farrar Consulting. Savannah is a native of Richmond, Texas, and still lives there with her husband, Tyler and her children, Ryan and Beau. In her spare time, Savannah likes to watch football, baseball, hang out with family and travel.
