Felix Storch, Inc. (FSI) was founded in 1969 to manufacture and distribute specialty major appliances, focusing on sizes and markets overlooked by the large manufacturers. In 1969, FSI trademarked the Summit® brand, still widely used today on a large variety of residential, hospitality, and foodservice appliances. In 2005, FSI trademarked the Accucold® brand to distinguish its growing line of medical, pharmacy, laboratory, and life-science refrigeration. FSI has since trademarked additional brands for specialty equipment, including PureTherm® blanket warmers and BeautiFridge® cosmetics refrigeration. FSI achieved ISO 9001:2008 certification and upgraded it to the current standard, ISO 9001:2015.
