Alistair joined the finnCap Group, originally as a Partner of Cavendish, in August 2016 to build the firm's Debt Advisory practice. Alistair was previously a Director in EY's Capital and Debt Advisory business where he led a number of debt advisory transactions including refinancing's, buy-side financing, refinancing and recapitalisations. Prior to joining EY, Alistair spent 11 years' at the Royal Bank of Scotland in various transactional roles within its UK Corporate Banking division. Alistair led over 40 transactions (incorporating over £6bn of debt financing) across a number of different sectors and encapsulating a range of different financing scenarios including M&A, recapitalisations, IPO funding, refinancing and development funding.

Andrew Darley

Andrew has been a tech and telco analyst for over 20 years Prior to finnCap he was previously with ING Barings Charterhouse and KBC Peel Hunt. On multiple occasions Andrew has been ranked Extel Starmine top 10 UK stock picker across all sectors; no. 1 UK and no. 1 Pan European Telecoms services stock picker; and no. 1 UK and no. 1 European Telecoms Services Earnings Estimates. Carl Holmes

Daniel began his career in the City in 2014 after graduating from Sheffield, where he studied Philosophy and Economics. His first role was as a market maker at Peel Hunt, where he spent 4 years before transitioning to Sales Trading. From Peel Hunt Daniel moved to Olivetree where he developed a focus on ECM and Special Situations. He has been at finnCap since early 2021, where he works in the Analytics team, servicing hedge fund and institutional clients.

David Fairbairn

David began his career in 2001 after graduating from the London School of Economics. He joined Merrill Lynch where he worked for over 10 years as a Pan European Equity Sales Trader developing a close relationship with the global hedge fund and institutional client base. From Merrill Lynch, David moved to the Special Situations broker Olivetreee Financial where he spent the following 8 years developing an expertise in ECM transactions and wider Special Situations. He joined finnCap in early 2021, where he heads the Analytics team, advising hedge fund and institutional clients in the trading of global equities.

Graham Cooke

Graham joined finnCap Group's Debt Advisory team in June 2019 to expand the team following the merger of finnCap and Cavendish. Prior to joining finnCap Group Graham spent 30 years at Natwest where he worked in a variety of roles including Large Corporate Relationship Management, Mid-Market Structured Finance, SME Origination and Client Remediation. Graham has led numerous financings for his clients over recent years. This has included acquisition financing for a number of FTSE250 businesses, a number of mid-market IPOs and new milestone debt facilities for growing SMEs. Graham holds Diplomas in both Financial Services Management and Chartered Banker Lending Skills.

Henrik Persson

Henrik joined finnCap in 2009 after qualifying as a chartered accountant specialising on AIM IPOs. He has extensive experience of all aspects of corporate advisory and broking work, having acted on several IPOs and secondary fundraisings, including PE exits and founder sell-downs. He leads finnCap's market-leading team focussed on public takeovers, shareholder activism and other specialist advisory situations, acting on both sides of such corporate activity. He spent two years at the Takeover Panel on a rare secondment where he was involved in over 200 takeover situations.

Henry Wells

Henry is the Head of Consumer, finnCap Group, and he is also Head of the Consumer Team at finnCap Cavendish. Henry has over 20 years corporate finance advisory experience, where he has focused on mid-market companies and investors. He has advised clients on a wide range of corporate finance transactions including private and public company disposals and acquisitions. Prior to joining the finnCap Group, Henry was head of UK M&A at Duff & Phelps and before that, he was Head of the Leisure & Retail team at Close Brothers Corporate Finance (which became DC Advisory). Henry is a graduate of the University of Newcastle upon Tyne and he qualified as a solicitor with Eversheds in 1999.

Jamie Blewitt

Jamie joined Cavendish in November 2020 to head up the firms Alternative Capital unit. Jamie focuses on managing and developing relationships with the UK family office and growth capital community whilst also driving the firms private growth capital offering to entrepreneurs. He joins from Rothschild & Co where he advised on a number of fundraising & M&A mandates in the public markets before moving to more recently focus on specific coverage of venture & growth capital funds and family offices in the private markets. He holds a degree in Business Studies & finance from Bournemouth University.

John Farrugia

John graduated with a degree in Economics from the University of London in 2000. He started his career within the technology M&A division of DC Advisory (formerly Close Brothers) and subsequently Strata Technology Partners before moving to Cavendish in 2008. He has successfully completed over 50 corporate finance transactions mostly valued between £15m and £100m. Successful assignments include M&A (Sell-side/Buy-side), LBO, Public Takeovers, Public-to-Private and Fundraising transactions.

Johnny Hewitson

Krishan joined the finnCap Group as an Associate in the in June 2019 to support Alistair and Graham in the expansion of the Debt Advisory team. Krishan began his career at EY where he spent almost three years in its Capital and Debt Advisory team, working across its Debt, Hedging and Ratings Advisory teams.. Subsequent to this Krishan joined the Livingstone Partners Debt Advisory team where he spent a further two years. Krishan has successfully completed a number of debt advisory transactions including refinancings, acquisition financings, growth financings and recapitalisations. Krishan graduated from Imperial College London in 2014 with a MEng (First Class Hons) in Civil Engineering and qualified as a Chartered Accountant in 2017.

Leigh Webb

Leigh joined the finnCap Group in 2019 to lead Private Equity sponsor coverage, focused on managing and developing relationships within the UK mid-market private equity community. Leigh previously spent five years with mid-market accounting firm RSM, where he was instrumental in building the private equity coverage team in the UK. He spent much of his time managing reciprocity with key private equity funds and originating deal flow for the mergers and acquisition team. Prior to his corporate finance career Leigh spent seven years working as a corporate head-hunter across London and the Middle East focused on the accounting and advisory sectors.
