David Pendergrast

David is an ophthalmologist at Auckland Eye, with sub-specialty expertise in cataract surgery, refractive and laser surgery, corneal transplantation, anterior segment surgery, conjunctival surgery and external eye diseases, including degenerative, infective and inflammatory conditions. David trained in Medicine at Auckland University School of Medicine and in Ophthalmology in Auckland and Bristol, UK. He undertook higher training as the Smith and Nephew Commonwealth Fellow in Corneal and Anterior Segment Surgery at Bristol Eye Hospital and attended clinics at Moorfields Eye Hospital, London, before returning to the Tutor Specialist post at Auckland Hospital Eye Department in 1991. David was a founder member of Auckland Eye. He is a part-time ophthalmologist at Greenlane Clinical Centre and a Clinical Senior Lecturer in the Department of Ophthalmology, University of Auckland. He lectures and gives clinical teaching and is a supervisor for ophthalmic registrars in training.

Diane Lacey

Diane has been involved in healthcare since 1985 and graduated as a Registered Nurse in Aberdeen, Scotland in 1989. Since then she has practiced as a Theatre Nurse in various specialties in Scotland and New Zealand. Diane's journey into Complimentary Therapies began in 2003 when she commenced studies with the New Zealand College of Massage and eventually went on to obtain a Diploma in Therapeutic Massage in 2007. During this time Diane became interested in the Lymphatic System after attending a Nursing Conference where the benefits of pre and post-operative Manual Lymph Drainage on recovery from surgery was presented. Diane is passionate about helping people improve their quality of life through the effects of Massage, Manual Lymph Drainage or Lymphoedema Therapy whether it's for relaxation, to address soft tissue injuries or dysfunctions, assist with recovery from Surgery or to offer education, therapy and support for managing Lymphoedema. Diane is also a provider for Sweet Louise offering Relaxation, Therapeutic Massage and Lymphoedema Therapy for people with Incurable Breast Cancer. Dr Charlotte Allen

Dr Justin Mora

Dr Justin Mora is a highly experienced paediatric ophthalmologist and strabismus surgeon dealing with binocular vision complaints in any age group. He specialises in cataract surgery, laser refractive surgery (LASIK/SMILE), paediatric ophthalmology, strabismus and glaucoma. He is a member of American Association of Paediatric Ophthalmology and Strabismus and is involved with three Australian and New Zealand ophthalmology special interest groups - Glaucoma, Paediatric Ophthalmology and Strabismus. Dr Leana Terblanche

Dr Leana Terblanche is a gynaecologist in private practice and consult from Seddon Medical Centre. She is also a full-time specialist at Counties Manukau DHB where she provides a full range of gynaecological services (open and laparoscopic) and is also the team-lead for complex obstetric surgical deliveries. Leana is a fellow of the Royal Australian and New Zealand College of Obstetricians and Gynaecologists. She also completed a diploma in gynae-oncology from the Colleges of Medicine of South Africa in 2019. She is actively involved in training and holds a part time senior lecturer appointment from the University of Auckland where she is involved in the teaching of medical students. She is also a supervisor for specialist RANZCOG trainees. She is involved in research and has published in the field of obstetrics and gynaecology. Dr Morgan Pokorny

Dr Pokorny is a highly qualified New Zealand-trained urologist. He graduated with First Class Honours from the University of Cape Town in 1998 and completed his basic Urology training in New Zealand in 2008. He then went to Brisbane to undertake a clinical and research fellowship at the Princess Alexandra Hospital, where he was awarded a PhD in 2013 for his thesis on the molecular biology of prostate cancer. During this time, he gained experience in laparoscopic kidney surgery and general urology and became an expert in stone surgery. In 2014, in Belgium, Dr Pokorny completed a robotic surgery fellowship under Prof. Alex Mottrie, a world-renowned figure in the field. Here, he received intensive training in robotic radical prostatectomy, partial nephrectomy, pyeloplasty and robotic reconstructive surgery. Dr Pokorny played a crucial role in assisting Dr Les Thompson with the first Australian trial using prostate MRI and MRI-guided biopsy in the diagnosis of prostate cancer between 2011 and 2014. The study was published in European Urology in 2014 and has become a landmark paper. Dr Pokorny is now an expert in prostate MRI and has twice chaired the USANZ Prostate MRI workshop at the USANZ Annual Scientific meeting. He has been invited to speak on prostate MRI at international meetings on multiple occasions. Dr Pokorny is involved in active research through Counties Manukau Health and reviews for several prominent urological journals. Francis T Hall

Dr. Francis Hall is an expert Ear, Nose and Throat (ENT) specialist. At the heart of Dr. Hall's practice is ensuring his patients are treated with compassion and are cared for throughout their patient journey. He graduated from the University of Otago Medical School in 1986. He completed advanced training in Otolaryngology Head and Neck Surgery and was made a fellow of the Royal Australasian College of Surgeons in 1998. Dr. Hall brings home to New Zealand, years of experience gained in Australia, Canada, and the United States. Such breadth of experience from looking after patients with head and neck conditions in four different countries means that Dr. Hall can treat his patients as individuals and tailor their treatment to their specific needs. He is a high-volume experienced head and neck surgeon who enjoys all aspects of head and neck surgery, from the initial assessment, the operation to following-up on his patients' post-treatment.
