With nearly two decades of practicing law and a lifetime in the local community, Connecticut Attorney Carlos Santos has successfully represented thousands of local residents throughout his career. A partner with Fitzpatrick Mariano Santos Sousa P.C. since 2002, Santos has been with the Connecticut law firm for 19 years, honing his skills, deepening his experience and continuously giving back the community.
Santos's focus practice areas are personal injury, criminal law and real estate, and he has resolved more than 1,000 personal injury cases alone for his clients. His experience extends to various levels of the law, with a history of cases tried in Connecticut Superior Court and arguments heard before the Connecticut Appellate Court and Connecticut Supreme Court. In addition to his flawless command of English, Santos is fluent in Spanish and Portuguese.

Attorney Sousa has been practicing law with FM&S since 2004. He graduated from The University of Connecticut with a B.A. in Economics and a B.S. in Education. Attorney Sousa then continued his studies attending law school at Roger Williams University in Bristol, RI. Attorney Sousa currently resides in Naugatuck, Connecticut with his wife and two year old daughter. He focuses his practices in personal injury, real estate law, workers' compensation, and criminal matters.
Danielle Perugini is new to the FMSS family and a native to the Waterbury area. Attorney Perugini graduated from the University of Connecticut in 2009 with a B.A. in Human Development & Family Studies. She earned her law degree from Western New England School of Law in 2014, and was admitted to the Connecticut Bar in 2015. Danielle focuses her practice on family law and personal injury and is experienced in handling real estate matters, discrimination, workers' compensation and general civil litigation.
Edward "Ned" Fitzpatrick has been practicing law since 1978 and is currently the Borough Attorney in Naugatuck. Ned received his B.S. in Accounting from Fairfield University, graduating in 1974 and went to Western New England School of Law in Springfield, Massachusetts where he earned his J.D.
Attorney Fitzpatrick focuses on Real Estate law and is heavily involved in land use and zoning issues. He also performs various tasks for the Borough of Naugatuck. Ned is an avid sailor and frequents the shipyards in Mystic and coastal Connecticut.

Timothy "Tim" Fitzpatrick has been working at FMSS in several capacities since he was in high school. Attorney Fitzpatrick graduated from Bentley University in 2007 with a Bachelor's in Marketing, and obtained an MBA from Bentley in 2009. Following his studies, Attorney Fitzpatrick was the sales and investments manager at Preview Properties, one of Boston's highest rated real estate brokerages. After realizing that many of his duties in real estate involved consultations and client advice, Tim enrolled at the University of Miami Law School.
In his Miami years, Tim worked for Samuel A. Rubert, P.A., a finance and alcoholic beverage law firm, where his clients included hotels, liquor stores, restaurants, and bars. Attorney Fitzpatrick also worked for the University's Office for Disability Services as a note taker, and was selected to the International Moot Court Board. Attorney Fitzpatrick currently focuses on personal injury, criminal law, municipal law, and real estate law.
