My focus is on livability and the quality of life, light, and space. I work one on one with my clients, guiding them through the design process. My philosophy is that spaces should adapt to the peoples' needs and sensibilities so that people feel at home and the spaces make sense for those who live and work in them. My architectural portfolio includes private residences in both urban and rural locations, floating homes, historic renovation and adaptive re-use, work with Northwest Tribes, multifamily residential, mixed use mid-rise, schools, office buildings, hospitality, recreational, medical clinics, and industrial buildings. GENE MORRIS ARCHITECT LLC is a regenerative outgrowth of my former firm Lagerquist Morris AIA.
