GEORGIA - Key Persons
Chad has been practicing law since 2000 when he was first licensed in North Carolina. In 2004, he returned to his home state of Georgia and began practicing in Atlanta. Chad has represented individuals and businesses in civil litigation matters that range from corporations involved in multi-million dollar contract disputes to physicians and health care facilities defending catastrophic injury and wrongful death claims. Chad now leads the firm's Personal Injury practice representing injured plaintiffs.
Born in Rome, Georgia, Chad lived in a variety of places, including England, Texas, and California, while his father served in the U.S. Air Force. His family returned to Rome while Chad was in high school, and, after attending the University of Georgia, he graduated from Berry College. He then attended Cumberland School of Law in Birmingham, Alabama, and graduated from that institution in 2000.Chad has been admitted to practice in front of the Supreme Court of Georgia, the Court of Appeals of Georgia, and the Federal District Court for the Northern and Middle Districts of Georgia. He is a member of the State Bar of Georgia, the Atlanta Bar Association, the DeKalb County Bar Association, and the American Bar Association.
Chad and his wife Susanna have one son. Chad is active in his community, having participated in a number of volunteer activities through the Decatur Rotary Club and his church, First United Methodist Church of Decatur, where he has served on the Administrative Board and the Staff Parish Relations Committee.
