Gateau Physical Therapy was established in 1987 by Southern Maryland native Bonnie B. Gateau in Lusby, Maryland. After success in a small space, Bonnie nearly tripled her space size. After the Gateau Physical Therapy reputation grew, a clinic was established in St. Mary's County at the site of the old Hollywood Volunteer Firehouse on Route 235 in 1993. The Lusby practice continued to grow, so a brand new 4000 square foot facility was built from the ground up. This new facility includes a therapeutic pool and our billing center. 1999 brought about a move by Gateau Physical Therapy in St. Mary's County. From Hollywood, Gateau Physical Therapy moved to the Chesapeake Professional Building to better serve the Patuxent Naval Air Station. In October of 2011, GPT opened its new facility at 23123 Camden Way, California...
