Josie Suddeth

Josie Suddeth is thrilled to be a part of Gist Healthcare's insightful team. She is passionate about improving the efficacy of health systems and making healthcare more accessible and understandable. As an Analyst on Member Insight, Josie curates healthcare trends into visuals, reports, and presentations for Gist's readers and members. Prior to joining Gist, Josie was the National Finance Associate on Senator Reverend Warnock's re-election campaign. She played a key analytical and organizational role on this record-breaking fundraising team. Josie graduated with distinction from the Frank Batten School of Leadership and Public Policy at the University of Virginia. She double majored in Leadership and Public Policy and Foreign Affairs and minored in Global Sustainability.

Patrick Grant

Patrick Grant applies his research and data visualization skills to shed light on healthcare markets and the policies that shape them. As an Analyst for the Member Insight team, Patrick distills the broader trends of the healthcare industry into reports, graphics, and presentations. Patrick joins Gist after completing his Master of Public Policy degree at the University of Virginia's Batten School, which he obtained jointly with his undergraduate degree in health economics. During his graduate studies, he combined a foundation in economics with health policy coursework to better understand the public-private interplay in US healthcare. His research ranged from quantitative analysis of ACA marketplace plans to CDC's strategy on antimicrobial resistance.

Teresa Breen

Teresa Breen is a passionate advocate for the transformation of the healthcare delivery system. She brings deep expertise in medical group strategy, hospital-physician alignment, and care variation reduction to her role as SVP of Member Insight, and leads the firm's development of strategic and operational insights for Gist Healthcare members, as well as other industry and policy stakeholders. Prior to joining Gist, Teresa spent over 13 years at Advisory Board -now part of UnitedHealth's Optum division-where she served as Managing Director and oversaw two national research membership programs for physician leaders. In addition to authoring research studies for national meeting events and publications, she frequently presented at strategic planning sessions and board retreats. Teresa also led a year-long consulting engagement with a large national health system focused on reducing care variation. Teresa earned her M.A. in International Relations from the University of Birmingham in the UK where she studied on a Rotary International Ambassadorial Scholarship. She received her undergraduate degree in Political Science and History summa cum laude from the University of California, Los Angeles where she also minored in Public Policy. Teresa is based in Portland, Oregon.
