Claire is an experienced and highly competent professional who is proficient in creating and delivering successful projects and programmes that support general practice and its workforce.
Claire jointly provides operational and strategic leadership alongside Susie Bayley working closely alongside our talented GPTF team. Claire leads in particular on practice resilience, bespoke facilitation, team development and practice management education, training and development. The recruitment, induction and training for facilitators is also central to the work as well as supervision and monitoring quality.
Claire has a broadening interest in leadership, emotional intelligence, coaching and personal well-being.

Clare has recently (July 2022) joined GPTF to help support Susie, Claire and the Team; she previously worked in the rail industry for 22 years as a PA to the Directors and for 10 years in the bus industry as a Secretary/Administrator. Clare enjoys holidays abroad and spending time with her ‘fur baby' Max, a 5-year-old cockapoo dog.

Susie is the Medical Director of the GPTF, having initially joined GPTF at its inception as a Change Facilitator. She leads on the general practice Retention work; making sense of the national asks and applying them to the unique needs of Derbyshire general practice. She has also is the media contact for the Task Force.
Her goal is that GPTF exists so that no one working in general practice feels alone; they know where to get the support they need to feel supported at work.
When not in the GPTF office or general practice, Susie can be found relaxing in the garden or raiding local hedgerows to make jam and or gin.

Laura Grainger is the GPTF Project Coordinator, she has been in the role for over a year and enjoys being the central point of contact for practices.
She has a degree in business management and loves paying particular attention to the project spend.

I recently completed my level 3 apprenticeship in Project Administration in 2022. I have been apart of the GPTF team for over 2 years being the first point of contact for GP Retention support and also the Derbyshire Educational Network. I work closely with Dr Carson ensuring all education sessions run seamlessly from planning, delegate registration, feedback and produce the certificates for all those important CPD points!
