GOULD FASTENERS - Key Persons
Ed Coombs began his career at Gould Fasteners in 2004, and has worked his way up to his current role as Warehouse Manager.
Ed is responsible for keeping the warehouse running smoothly and efficiently, adhering to his high standards of cleanliness and order. He supervises his highly trained team of Shippers, Receivers and Inspectors who work hard to maintain Gould Fasteners' excellent record of quality and on-time delivery.
Outside of work you can find Ed reading, especially socio-economic books, or pumping iron at the gym. Ed is an avid basketball fan, although we at Gould are still trying to convert him from the Spurs to the Raptors.
It's been more than 35 years since Irwin started Gould Fasteners. Always passionate about quality, innovation, and building strong business relationships, Irwin's hard work and commitment has succeeded in building Gould Fasteners into an industry leading company.
For Irwin his company's success can be measured by the enjoyment his employees have doing their work, the achievment of ISO 9001:2000 Certification for more than 21 years, and the long list of repeat customers who continue to bestow awards on Gould Fasteners for incredible service.
When not at the office, Irwin loves to play the banjo and is always challenging himself to learn ever more difficult songs. He is also a wiz in the kitchen and his staff love when he brings in some of his culinary creations for a pot luck lunch.
Way back in 1989, Lourdes began working at Gould Fasteners. As our Office and Accounting Manager, she keeps the office running smoothly and efficiently. She is a natural when it comes to technology and seems to solve computer or printer problems with ease.
Rob Horton started at Gould in 2001 as an outside sales representative and has since become our Sales Manager. His many talents and expertise have been a tremendous asset for Gould Fasteners.
Rob also has vast experience with plating and is our in-house plating expert, ensuring that all plating is done to his exacting standards.

Steve joined Gould Fasteners in 2004 with a few breaks in between. He has performed a multitude of roles from warehouse to office. His contributions as a certified Lead Auditor for ISO 9001:2015 are well appreciated. Combined with Steve's experienced background in VISA, SOC Type II quality compliance standards and his green and black belts in Lean 6 Sigma has earned him the position of Quality Assurance Manager.
His attention to detail and excellence carries over into Steve's other passions: sports and travel. Whether it's football, ball hockey, ice hockey, soccer or baseball Steve participates with the same enthusiasm and focus that he applies to his work. When it's time for a break and you happen to find yourself on the Portuguese island Madeira chances are you will cross paths with Steve as it's his favorite vacation destination.
