Atli Björn

Atli is a founding partner at AX Legal Services in Iceland, and has over 15 years of legal experience. He is skilled in corporate law, corporate finance, renewable energy law, legal advice, mergers & acquisitions, litigation, cross-border transactions, private equity, business strategy, legal research, commercial litigation, and international M&A. Atli holds a degree in Corporate and Commercial Law from the University of Bristol, and graduated with his Bachelor's from the University of Iceland in Reykjavik.

Dr. Vijay Chauhan

Vijay has a Doctoral degree in mechanical engineering from Reykjavik University. His PhD research work was focused on developing techniques for superheated steam scrubbing and utilization for power generation, in relation to the Iceland Deep Drilling Project (IDDP). His research interests include thermo-economic optimization of geothermal power plants and mitigation technology development for the treatment of geothermal fluid with acid gas and solid impurities. He also has experience in design and installation for the direct usage of geothermal resources and ground source heat pumps for space heating. He is also actively involved in teaching and academic research at Reykjavik University, with the objective of narrowing the gap between industry and academia. He has made contributions in terms of publications in various international journals and conferences related to the field of geothermal energy research.

Jordan Oxley

Jordan is CEO of Energy Co-invest Global ("ECC"), an energy developer and financier with projects in several countries principally in renewable power generation and cleantech. Jordan began his career in central banking working directly with the Governor of the Bank of Canada. He continued to progressively senior positions with financial and energy companies. Jordan has held executive management over a billion dollars in transaction and enterprise value. With a focus on efficient outsourcing models and smaller teams of high quality experts, Jordan has managed companies and divisions ranging from eight to 120 people in four countries. In 2018, Jordan accepted appointments to the Boards of an energy company with successful renewable power plant projects with combined revenue and investment in excess of USD 200M. Jordan also recently held directorships and advisory appointments in real estate finance with a company that built 19 high rise towers, as well as banking, fintech, mining and other special advisory contracts. Placed in sensitive positions requiring unquestioned trust and reliability, Jordan held "Level III, Top Secret" status, the highest security clearance in Canada. He regularly originates projects and leads negotiations for multi-jurisdictional transactions and has traveled to over sixty countries.

Jón Örn Jónsson

Jón Örn is currently the Project Manager at Össur in Iceland, and is focusing on geothermal development projects in East Africa and Asia. Previously with Reykavik Geothermal between 2010 and 2020, Jón Örn has successfully managed the application, funding, budgeting, and project management of various projects. Jón Örn was responsible for the successful delivery of RG's Geothermal Risk Mitigation Facility (GRMF), Corbetti grant application that resulted in the 7.9 MUSD grant agreement signed in May 2014, the 1.3 MUSD grant signed in November 2015, and the 1.4 MUSD grant signed in April 2018. Jón Örn is also responsible for the successful application, negotiation and project management of RG's EUR 3 million contract for the Regional Geothermal Exploration in Rwanda, Burundi, and Congo funded by EU for the benefit of CEPEGL. Jón Örn is conversant in Energy Finance and has a M.Sc. degree in Sustainable Energy and Business from the Reykjavik Energy Graduate School of Sustainable Systems. He also holds a Master´s in Project Management from the University of Iceland, and a B.Sc. in Hotel Management from the University of Stavanger, Norway. Before joining RG, Jon Orn held an advisory position within retail banking at Islandsbanki. Over the last few years, Jon Örn has been focusing on geothermal project management and has as such gained valuable hands-on project management experience from a variety of international projects, as well as those here in Iceland.

Kendall Cromartie

Kendall has a Master's degree in Sustainable Energy from the Iceland School of Energy at Reykjavik University. She has over 3 years of professional experience in the fields of sustainability, the environment, and clean energy - as well as a Bachelor's degree in environmental science. Kendall has worked for various environmental, energy-focused companies and organizations in the past, including the US Department of Energy. Her MSc. project was focused on investigating the feasibility of renewable energy systems in the Arctic to reduce the use of fossil fuels, in order to address the localized effects of rising greenhouse gases and to make the Arctic region more resistive to climate change. Kendall also has over 7 years of professional and academic experience in policy, website content creation and editing, project coordination and scheduling, and writing.

Mamadou Goumble

Mamadou is experienced at leading global teams with a strong influence across borders, and is highly adept at managing IPP and coordinating negotiations with government entities. He has proven success in leading business development within developing countries and markets. Mamadou has a Master's in Civil Works from Ecole spéciale des Travaux publics, du B timent et de l'Industrie and a MSc. in Petroleum Engineering from IFP School, as well as graduated from the IMD Business School Leadership program. Snorri Einarsson - CTO

Snorri has over 11 years of experience in engineering work related to geothermal power plants. He began his engineering career in 2007 at Iceland's largest engineering firm, Mannvit, and has remained dedicated to geothermal energy ever since. He studied Mechanical and Energy Engineering at Reykjavik University, and has a background in Marine Engineering. Snorri joined Green Energy Geothermal International ltd. (a part of GEG since 2020) in 2012, and ever since has been a vital part of the development of GEG ehf.'s geothermal power plant solution.

Tomas Otto Hansson - Chairman, Shareholder

Tomas is the founder and Chairman of Atom Innovations in Oxford England. Atom Innovations invests in and supports innovative companies and entrepreneurs. Tomas has over 20 years of experience in finance, banking, project management in various industries, as board member, in management or as project leader of large or small international investment projects. He became a leading advisor to Novator, a London based private equity firm, first on the acquisition of Landsbanki, then the Bulgarian National Telecom. Tomas has been involved in, and as director of, multiple projects and companies globally, including in telecommunications, banking, shipping, and pharmaceuticals. For 8 years Tomas was the chairman of Nova, the leading mobile operator in Iceland. Tomas has an M.Phil degree in Economics from New York University.
