Amitesh Grover

Amitesh Grover has studied Live & Digital Arts at University of Arts London, U.K. His work occupies the intermediate space between Theatre, Performance, and Interactive Art. His works are shown internationally at festivals and in theatres, galleries, public spaces, and on the internet. He is the recipient of MASH FICA Award for New Media Artist (2019), and was recently announced as Artistic Director for ITFOK Theatre Festival, Kerala 2020. He has received Bismillah Khan National Award (India, 2008) and was nominated for Arte Laguna Prize (Italy 2018), and Forecast Award (HKW, Germany 2015). He has been on numerous residencies including PACT Zollverein (Germany 2018), Tokyo Culture Creation Project (Japan, 2013), KMAT Residency (Australia, 2011), and Prohelvetia AIR (Switzerland, 2008). He has given prominent talks on his work at Performance Studies International '23 (Germany, 2017), University of Exeter (U.K. 2016), Lasalle College of Art (Singapore, 2016), National Drama Theatre (Lithuania, 2016), Cornell University (U.S. 2011), among others. At present, he is Assistant Professor at National School of Drama (India), and leads a course on Interactive Art (M.F.A.) at Shiv Nadar University. He is visiting faculty at National Institute of Design, and School of Planning & Architecture. He is NSD alumnus and CWIT scholar.

Anjali Nerlekar

Anjali Nerlekar is Associate Professor in the Department of African, Middle Eastern and South Asian Languages and Literatures (AMESALL), and Program in Comparative Literature at Rutgers University. Her research interests span global modernisms, Indian print cultures, Marathi literature, Indo-Caribbean literature, spatial and cartographic studies of the city, and translation studies. She is the author of Bombay Modern: Arun Kolatkar and Bilingual Literary Culture(2016) and has also co-edited the special double issue of Journal of Postcolonial Writing (53.1/2, 2017) on "The Worlds of Bombay Poetry." In collaboration with Dr. Bronwen Bledsoe of Cornell University, she has created an ongoing collection of documents related to English and Marathi Bombay poetry titled "The Bombay Poets' Archive."

Ashutosh Potdar has been teaching English and Indian Literature, Drama and Theatre studies, Creative Writing at graduate and post-graduate levels for more than fifteen years. He has published his research work on drama and literature in English and Marathi in various journals and presented papers in national and international conferences. He travels extensively to deliver lectures on literature, theatre and cultural practices. Ashutosh has one-act and full-length plays, poems, short fiction and scholarly essays in Marathi and English to his credit. Two collections of his four plays are published by Watermark Publication. His plays are being performed through national and international festivals like Bharat Ranga Mahotsav, NSD, New Delhi, Prithvi Theatre, International Theatre Festival of Kerala, and different other venues in India. He is the recipient of a number of awards such as Maharashtra Foundation Award, Aswaghosh Award given by Bodhi Natya Parishad, Best Play-writing award given by Natya Parishad and Ram Ganesh Gadkari Award given by Government of Maharashtra. He has also translated plays and essays from English to Marathi. Currently, Ashutosh has been working as Associate Professor of Literature and Drama at FLAME University, Pune, (India).

Noopur Desai is an art critic and writer writing in Marathi and English. Currently, she is a researcher at the Asia Art Archive in India and is based in New Delhi. She is also a PhD scholar at the School of Media and Cultural Studies, Tata Institute of Social Sciences, Mumbai. In the past she has worked as a researcher with Jackfruit Research and Design, Bangalore, Asia Art Archive, Hong Kong and Devi Art Foundation, Delhi; and in research and programming at Vadehra Art Gallery, New Delhi, and Mohile Parikh Centre, and G5A Foundation, Mumbai. Noopur is the recipient of FICA Ila Dalmia research grant 2015 for her project ‘Formulating Dialogical Art: An Archival Project of Public Art Interventions'. Rafiq Suraj is a creative writer in Marathi and an associate professor in Department of Marathi, Jayawant Mahavidyalya, Ichalkaranji. His research interests include studies into modern Marathi poetry and fiction. He has been supervising M Phil and PhD students of Shivaji University, Kolhapur. He has published short stories, novel, poetry and criticism. Rafiq is the author of three collections of short-stories namely, Abhaal, Bebas and Arshyatalya Aarshyat; a novel titled as Rahbar, a collection of poems, Song Gheun Haa Por as well as a collection of essays, Awad Niwad. Rafiq Suraj has received a number of awards given by Government of Maharashtra, Maharashtra Sahitya Parishad, and Apte Nagar Vachan Mandir. His poetic work has been translated into Hindi, English and Kannada. His writings have been included into school and college level curriculum. Recently, he is nominated as a member of Marathi Language Advisory Board of Sahitya Akademi, New Delhi.
