Paralegal Elizabeth (Lisa) Wood graduated Phi Beta Kappa from Brown University and holds an M.B.A. from Columbia University in Finance and Accounting. She earned a paralegal certificate at Manchester Community College, whose program is accredited by the American Bar Association. She was recognized for her academic excellence with an MCC award.

Rebecca A. Hajosy

Attorney Hajosy graduated Cum Laude with Honors from Texas State University in 1994, with a B.A. in Psychology. In 1998, she earned her Juris Doctorate from the University of Denver College of Law. She is admitted to practice in the States of Connecticut and Utah. She is an accredited Veteran Affairs Claims Attorney (VACA) and is a past member of the National Academy of Elder Law Attorneys (NAELA) and a past member of the Special Needs Alliance. Attorney Hajosy was the President Elect of the Connecticut chapter of NAELA (2017). She is on the Executive Committee of the Elder Law Section of the Connecticut Bar Association, where she served on the Diversity and By-Law Committees. She is on the West Hartford Advisory Commission for Persons with Disabilities. Attorney Hajosy started and ran the University of Hartford and Greater Hartford Legal Aid Estate Document Clinic for Low Income Seniors that ended in 2019. In addition to her work as an attorney, she was a longtime professor at the University of Hartford where she taught Probate Practice and Elder Law. Her joy of teaching means she is a frequent speaker offering seminars and courses on all topics within her practice areas. In her free time, Rebecca likes to hike and camp with her two teenage kids. She is a Land Steward for the Connecticut Forest and Park Association and enjoys other land conservation volunteer opportunities. She is a third-generation beekeeper, enjoys playing guitar, and has recently taken up pottery.
