Alexander J. Bell

Anthony D. Lehman

Mr. Lehman has been a construction lawyer and litigator for over 25 years. His abilities and knowledge in construction law were recognized in 2017 when he satisfied all the requirements to be recognized as a Board-Certified Specialist in Construction Law by the Florida Bar - one of only two bar associations in the country to recognize construction-law specialists. He has extensive experience in trying cases in arbitration, at bench trials, and to juries. Mr. Lehman has represented owners, contractors, engineers, architects, design-builders, subcontractors, suppliers, and program managers in federal and state courts in Georgia, Florida, Alabama, and in other locations when clients have needed help. The types of projects on which Mr. Lehman has been involved include stadiums, hotels, shopping centers, restaurants, multi-family residential, industrial facilities, wastewater treatment plants, and road construction projects, among others. In addition to litigation and arbitration, Mr. Lehman has also advised contractors, subcontractors, engineers, and developers in reviewing contracts prior to construction starting to help avoid disputes. Mr. Lehman has drafted, reviewed, and negotiated contracts for projects of all sizes and types and has worked with HLP clients during construction to identify potential problems before they arise and to mitigate potential losses.

He serves on the board of directors for the Construction Financial Management Association of Georgia, organizes an annual conference for Georgia construction industry executives and regularly publishes and speaks on issues of interest to the construction industry. Brad C. Parrott

Brad Parrott represents ENR top 400 general contractors, specialty contractors, design professionals, owners and developers throughout the United States in all facets of the construction life cycle. Mr. Parrott serves as national litigation counsel for a number of large companies managing and leading their litigated matters. Brad's experience as lead counsel involves litigated disputes throughout the United States in federal courts, state courts, American Arbitration Association, ASBCA, CBCA, Court of Claims and private ADR dispute proceedings. His working includes disputes involving a broad range of project types and delivery methods. Brad serves as lead counsel for the drafting and negotiation of construction contracts including GMP, design-build, DBO, CMAA, CMAR and EPC agreements across a variety of market sectors including sports arenas, hospitals, power generation, infrastructure, water/wastewater, correctional institutions, education, multi-family, municipal, manufacturing, commercial, retail offices and institutional. A significant portion of Brad's practice involves representing Federal Government Contractors as both project counsel and disputes counsel. Brad and the HLPW team have an intimate knowledge of the Federal Acquisition Regulations (FAR) and the Defense Federal Acquisition Regulations (DFAR) governing most Federal Construction Projects. Brad has led internal investigations and defended civil allegations of violations of the False Claims Act and the Buy American Act. Frequently, Ward's representation spans from project development through project closeout, including resolution of any project-related disputes.  In this regard, Ward regularly assists clients in the preparation, analysis and/or resolution of disputes or issues as they arise during a project. Ward regularly represents contractors, design professionals and owners in the resolution of design and construction-related disputes, whether through settlement negotiations, mediation, arbitration or litigation in trial or appellate courts.   Ward also regularly assists construction industry clients in negotiating and drafting contract documents for his clients, particularly design-build contracts, EPC contracts and CMAA or CMAR agreements.
