Betty Dagistan

Job Titles:
  • Director Global Engagement
Betty is the Director Global Engagement at Inspiring Futures Education. In her role, Betty has overall responsibility for international and domestic recruitment across the IFE schools, managing a team of International Recruitment Officers in key international source regions globally, as well as admissions and marketing. She joined IFE in 2021 and has more than 15 years of experience working with international students. Betty's passion for working in international education started whilst she was studying for her degree in English in International Communications and Cultural Studies at the University of Kent. Prior to joining IFE, Betty was Director, International Recruitment at Mander Portman Woodward (MPW), an operator of sixth form colleges in London, Birmingham and Cambridge. At MPW, she was responsible for admissions, recruitment and international marketing for the MPW group. Previously, she was International Recruitment Manager - Middle East, North Africa and Central Europe at BPP University from 2011 to 2014. From 2009 to 2011, Betty was International Admissions Manager, Foundation OnCampus and then Business Development Manager at Cambridge Education Group and also held a similar role at Global Graduate Education. Outside work, Betty's main interests include travelling, yoga and Turkish cooking.

Charlie Freer

Charlie founded IFE with Mark Jeynes in 2014. He holds a degree in Business, Economics and Accounting from the University of Southampton. Charlie has 17 years' experience working in the international education sector in the UK and overseas, in a range of roles. At IFE, he oversees Finance, HR, IT, Property and aspects of Compliance. Prior to establishing IFE, Charlie was Managing Director at ACS International Schools from 2009 to 2013. He was also previously Finance Director at World Class Learning Group, an international schools consultancy and curriculum group from 2003 to 2008. Charlie attended Merchant Taylors School, where his interests included sport and CCF. Charlie is married with three children. Aside from family time, he enjoys rugby, cycling and running.

Crispin Dawson

  • Principal, Padworth College
Crispin joined Padworth College in September 2022. Crispin has more than 22 years of experience teaching in state, independent and international schools, including more than 20 years of experience in boarding schools. He is passionate about leading a school community and influencing and creating an outstanding environment for students to learn and thrive as young people. Crispin was a Senior Housemaster at Oakham School from 2000 to 2013, before moving to Cheltenham College, where he was Senior Deputy Head and Acting Head for a short period. In January 2021, he moved to Muscat, Oman to take on a new role as Founding Principal of Cheltenham Muscat, serving in this role until August 2022. Additionally, Crispin is a Boarding Inspector for the Independent Schools Inspectorate and holds an MEd in Educational Leadership from the University of Buckingham. Crispin is married to Sarah. They have three children who attend boarding school in the UK.

Mario Di Clemente

  • Principal, Bishopstrow College
Mario joined Bishopstrow College in January 2022. Mario has 35 years' experience of independent education, with a focus on international students. His experience includes roles in boarding schools. With a background in modern languages, from September 1986 to August 1987, Mario was Head of Spanish and Assistant Head of House at Woldingham School. Then, from August 1997 to August 2007, he was Director of Studies and then Vice Principal of MPW in London, Mario then moved to Cambridge Tutors College (CTC) in Croydon, initially as Vice Principal from 2007 to 2008 and then as Principal from 2008 to 2014. From CTC, Mario progressed to Principal of CATS College in London, an almost entirely international college with 55+ nationalities represented. After 5 years in this role, Mario was appointed Chief Operations Officer of Chancery Education Trust, a Multi Academy Trust consisting of three schools in South London.

Mark Jeynes

Mark founded IFE with Charlie Freer in 2014. He holds a degree in Banking & Finance from Loughborough University and an MBA from London Business School. At IFE, he oversees relationships with agents, feeder schools and destination schools. Prior to establishing IFE, Mark spent 15 years in strategy consulting with a focus on the education sector, including 12 years at The Parthenon Group (now EY-Parthenon) where he was the Partner overseeing the London Office. Mark attended Ranelagh Grammar School where, in addition to excelling in his A Levels, he played rugby, hockey and cricket. He also enjoyed performing, playing leading roles in various drama and musical theatre productions and later sang in the LBS Band. Mark is married with two children. Aside from family time, he enjoys cycling and travel.

Sarah Miles

Job Titles:
  • Director of Compliance
Sarah joined Bishopstrow College in 2011 and over the past 10 years, has performed a variety of roles, including Head of Admissions and more recently Head of Compliance, a role that extends across the IFE schools. Sarah holds a degree in Classical Studies from King's College London, where she also studied for a Masters degree in Classics. Sarah attended Prior Park College, where she developed a passion for horse riding and History of Art. Outside work, Sarah enjoys pilates and reading.
