Anna fights for those injured because of others' negligence and those consumers wronged by bad business practices. At McGowan, Hood, Felder & Phillips, LLC, Anna focuses her practice on representing individuals in medical malpractice, personal injury suits, class actions, consumer fraud cases and insurance bad faith cases.
Anna was born and raised in Georgia and Alabama. She went to college at Lenoir-Rhyne College in Hickory, North Carolina, and then attended the University of South Carolina School of Law. While at the University of South Carolina, Anna was on the dean's list and a representative for the Student Bar Association. After graduation, she settled in the Myrtle Beach area where she met her husband, John.
Before joining McGowan, Hood, Felder & Phillips, LLC, she worked as an associate with Rice, MacDonald & Hicks, P.A. for seven years, focusing mainly on civil litigation, collections and homeowners associations.
In her spare time Anna enjoys the beach, Gamecock Football, and spending time with her husband and children, MaryHope, Andy and Wally.

Ashley was born and raised in Spartanburg, South Carolina. She attended college at Elon University in Burlington, NC, where she graduated in the top 8 of her class. She then attended the University of South Carolina School of Law, where she met her husband Drew. While at the University of South Carolina, Ashley was Senior Articles Editor of the ABA Real Property Probate and Trust Journal, a member of the Moot Court bar, and Order of the Wig and Robe.
Ashley has successfully represented clients through trial during the last ten years, and assisted in reaching several of the highest reported settlements in South Carolina in 2013 and 2014. She handles all aspects of her clients' cases and has presented oral arguments in both State and Federal appellate courts. In 2014 and 2015, Ashley was named a South Carolina Rising Star Lawyer, an honor reserved for less than 2.5% of all attorneys in South Carolina.
Before joining McGowan, Hood, Felder & Phillips, LLC, she worked as an associate with Nelson Mullins Riley & Scarborough for several years, focusing mainly on product liability cases.
Ashley is a board member of the South Carolina Association for Justice and teaches Sunday School at her church.
In her spare time Ashley enjoys spending time with her husband, children, and dog; cooking; reading; and attempting to paddleboard.

Mandy Pittman is an associate in the Columbia office where she focuses on medical malpractice, nursing home, and personal injury cases.
Before joining the team at McGowan, Hood, Felder & Phillips, Mandy practiced at an insurance defense/subrogation firm and then at a personal injury firm where, in 2019, she earned the title of one of Midlands Legal Elite in the area of Personal Injury. She has also been recognized as one of Best Lawyers' "Ones to Watch" in 2020 and 2022.
Mandy is involved in numerous legal organizations. Within the South Carolina Bar, Mandy serves on the Professional Responsibility and Ethics Advisory Committees. She is also very involved in the Richland County Bar where she serves as the chair of the Membership Committee and also serves on the Wellness and Diversity Committees. Mandy is a member of the John Belton O'Neall Inn of Court where is currently serving as the Webmaster. Finally, Mandy is a member of the South Carolina Association for Justice and the Academy of Truck Accident Attorneys.
A small-town girl at heart, Mandy grew up in Lugoff, South Carolina. After graduating from Lugoff-Elgin High School, Mandy attended Presbyterian College, where she was inducted into three academic honor societies: Sigma Kappa Alpha, Phi Alpha Theta, and Sigma Tau Delta. She then attended the University of South Carolina School of Law where she was an active member of the Mock Trial Bar and received a CALI award in three courses - Problems in Professional Responsibility, Advanced Legal Writing, and Sales. A CALI award signifies that a student earned the highest grade out of every student in the course.
On a personal note, Mandy is a South Carolina "Ultimate Outsider," meaning she has visited all 47 state parks. When she is not hiking or exploring, Mandy enjoys putting together jigsaw puzzles, spending time with family, and attending Calvary Baptist Church.

Dan came to South Carolina during his six-year tenure with U.S. Navy's submarine fleet. After his service, Dan graduated from the College of Charleston, cum laude, and the USC School of Law in 2000. After graduation, Dan started a family in his wife's hometown of Bamberg, where he continues to practice trial law today.

Donovan was born and raised in Hartsville, South Carolina. He attended the public schools of Darlington County, graduating from Hartsville High School in 2009. After playing football for two years at South Carolina State University, Donovan later graduated from the University of South Carolina in 2014 with a Bachelor of Arts degree in Political Science. Immediately after graduation, he began working in the Lieutenant Governor of South Carolina's office as the executive assistant to Yancey McGill and Henry McMaster. During his tenure, he worked specifically on projects which focused on bringing resources to the elderly.
After spending a couple of years working in state government, Donovan realized that he wanted to continue his quest of serving the rural areas by attending law school. Donovan graduated from the University of South Carolina School of Law in 2019. While in law school, he was active in the Matthew Perry Chapter of the Black Law Students Association and an active member of the American Constitution Society. Donovan also worked in the Governor's office under Henry McMaster as his law clerk and staff member throughout his law school career.
In 2021, Donovan was part of the legal team which reached a landmark settlement of $88 million for the Charleston Nine. Donovan is a lifelong member of Jerusalem Baptist Church in Hartsville, South Carolina. He is also an active member of Omega Psi Phi Fraternity, Incorporated.
When not in the office, Donovan enjoys playing and watching sports, cooking and spending time with his family and goldendoodle, Shiloh.
