Insurance Gyan is a website aimed at promoting insurance awareness in India. We are not a commecial establishment nor endorse any insurance products. India is one of the largest economies in the world, but Insurance penetration in India is limited and there is significant scope for growth of Insurance Industry in India. As of now, there are approximately 57 Insurance companies operating in India out of which 24 are catering to Life and rest are Non-Life. Experts suggest Insurance Industry will grow to the size of US $ 280 billion by 2020 with the increasing awareness about insurance products in India.
