Mr. Clothier builds autonomous vehicle (AV) programs and partnerships accelerating deployment of AVs working with some of the most innovative tech companies (Aurrigo, Via, Quantum Signal, Robotic Research, IBM, Alpine, Pratt & Miller, Local Motors), federal agencies (DOD, VA, DOT, Innovate UK) and cities (Las Vegas, Honolulu, Tampa, London, Dubai). He co-developed the US Army's Applied Robotics for Installation and Base Operations (ARIBO) program, a featured Smart America Challenge project which led to the first US AV pilot at Fort Bragg, NC. Currently working with Stantec, Corey is among the most active developers of automated mobility systems in the world.
Mr. Solomont has over 40 years' experience in the information technology, interactive media and software industries. He is an active investor and advisor to early-stage technology companies and was the founder of Common Angels in Boston, one of the first institutionalized angel groups in the country. He holds a bachelor's degree in engineering from Tufts University and a master's degree in management from MIT's Sloan School. He is a founding Trustee and past Chairman of the Massachusetts Technology Leadership Council and previously served on the Information Technology Committee at the Museum of Science, Boston and as an Advisor to the Internet Working Group at the Museum of Fine Arts, Boston.
Mark has over 20 years of experience in automotive product development and autonomous vehicle research. Previously, Mark was the chief engineer of autonomous driving systems at Great Wall Motor Company (GWM) and established their American R&D organization, which was focused on developing SAE Level 4 automated driving technology. He built an international organization and was responsible for autonomous vehicle deployments in multiple countries.
Prior to GWM, Mark was a technical specialist at the Ford Motor Company and was one of the first engineers working on their autonomous vehicle project. Mark is currently enrolled in a Ph.D. program centered on Industrial and Systems Engineering and Executive Leadership at Wayne State University and holds both a BS and MS degree in Mechanical Engineering from the Missouri University of Science and Technology. He is excited to be co-leading this great organization.
