Mr. Atula is a well accomplished agronomist and manager with experience of over 25 years in scheme, projects and research operations, planning and strategy formulation and implementation, resource mobilization and formulation and execution of irrigation programmes ranging from development to operations. Mr. Atula is the current Deputy General Manager, Corporate Services of the National Irrigation Authority. Prior, he sat on the same seat on acting capacity for the period between July 1, 2016 and January 30, 2018.

Mr. Daniel Odhiambo Odero was appointed to the Board on September 28, 2023. He holds a Master of Science (MSc.) degree in Agricultural and Applied Economics (CMAAE) and a Bachelor of Science (BSc.) in Agriculture both from the University of Nairobi, Kenya. Mr. Odero has also received specialized training in various areas related to agriculture and development, including Water-saving agricultural technologies for Kenya in Yangling, People's Republic of China, intensive crop production with modern technologies in Mashav, Israel, and Resilience Index Measurement and Analysis from FAO/IGAD. Additionally, he has undergone training in Monitoring & Evaluation, Data Management & Analysis for Agricultural & Rural Development Programmes with In-depth Research Services, Agricultural Development Policy and Planning for Developing Countries and Agricultural Products Circulation and Trade for African Countries in Beijing, China, and Strategic Leadership Development Programme and Senior Management Course at Kenya School of Government. He is also a member of the Association of African Agricultural Economists (AAAE). Currently, Mr. Odero holds the position of Deputy Director - Irrigation Water Management at the Ministry of Water, Sanitation, and Irrigation in Kenya since June 2019. In this role, leads a division responsible for planning, monitoring and evaluation, resource mobilization, and data and information management related to irrigation schemes. Among others, his responsibilities include formulating and implementing programs and projects for irrigation scheme management, promoting climate-smart and water-saving irrigation technologies, and overseeing irrigation water development. Moreover, he serves as the National Programme Coordinator for KfW-funded projects on irrigation and water harvesting and storage in Kenya Prior to his current roles, Mr. Odero has held positions in the Ministry of Agriculture, Livestock, and Fisheries, in several roles including Monitoring & Evaluation Officer for the Drought Resilience and Sustainable Livelihoods Programme in the Horn of Africa and Chief Agriculture Officer. Mr. Odero's is a highly accomplished agricultural economist and development professional with a wealth of experience spanning from both public and private sectors. His extensive educational background, practical experience and commitment to sustainable agricultural development makes him a valuable asset in the Authority's Board. His leadership in key government roles and participation in various training programs demonstrate his dedication to improving agricultural practices and promoting food security in the country in line with the Bottom-up Economic Transformation Agenda (BeTA).

She has over 13 years of experience in ICT Infrastructure operations, Information Security and Innovations in both private and public sectors. She holds a Bachelor of Science in Information Technology and is a MSC Information Security from Strathmore University. She also holds a Diploma in Computer Studies, CCNP, A+ and N+ Certifications. Her immersive contribution in ICT Service delivery in the Public Service has seen her awarded a Certificate of Excellence in Public Sector Innovation, 2011 Edition, by the Head of Public Sector in Kenya. She has greatly contributed to the transformation of National Irrigation Authority in digitization and automation processes.

In addition, she has completed multiple trainings and received certifications in Project Management for the Development Sector (PMD Pro), Strategic Design and Implementation of Adolescent Girls' Program and the Regional Resilience through Economic Market Development (R-EMD) Workshop by Mercy Corps. She also completed the Online Project Management in Development course (LINGOs), the 8 th Regional BDS Training course on Value Chain Development, and an Induction Workshop on Islamic Banking and Finance. Ms. Ubah Kahiyeh has amassed a decade of experience in leadership roles within humanitarian and development programs. She possesses a strong track record in program design, management, and implementation, alongside expertise in market systems development, governance, peace-building, financial inclusion, gender equality, and resilience. Her leadership acumen extends to strategic planning, staff management, and engagement with donors and partners. She has over 20 years' wealth of experience in Human capital management, performance management, reward management and Employee relations. She is a Full member of the Institute of Human Resource Management (IHRM).
