The new AMS facility at the A.E. Lalonde Laboratory has been designed based on the capabilities of the ISA and will provide the physical and intellectual resources for the development of future applications. Isobarex is driving this technology to the next level, validating chemistry solutions to make possible important radiotracer analyses, and developing integrated hardware and software solutions for new emerging AMS markets... Isobarex Corp., a privately-owned company, has been formed in 2008 by renowned researchers in Accelerator Mass Spectrometry (AMS) and by industrial scientists with vast experience in radio-frequency quadrupole (RFQ) technologies. Isobarex works in partnership with the A.E. Lalonde AMS Laboratory at University of Ottawa to develop commercially the Isobar Separator for Anions (ISA) for the AMS community.
