Amanda is the CEO of Good Man Sanitation. She currently serves as Vice President of the Jefferson County Homebuilders Association and, is a founding member of the Jefferson County Collective Impact initiative and the Jefferson County Chamber of Commerce Young Professionals Network. Amanda was raised in a multi-generational, multicultural household and from an early age encouraged participation in civic and community activism. She strives to collaborate with local businesses and entrepreneurs to support the sustainable growth of living-wage jobs and to retain young families in Jefferson County. Amanda lives locally with her partner and their children.
Cathie Wier was inspired to join JCF as a volunteer after a discussion with Sioban about JCF's role in enhancing our community's safety net and systemic social change. Cathie was a software engineer, software trainer, and tool builder for 30 years. At JCF she works behind the scenes to help the team with technology. Cathie is an avid hiker, backpacker, and fiber artist.
Celia Walden believes passionately that cross-cultural communication combined with grassroots, community-based leadership, and innovation are keys to a healthy community. Originally from Birmingham, Alabama, she is a graduate of Columbia University's School of International & Public Affairs. She has worked for the Fulbright Foundation in India, assisted in establishing Employee Stock Ownership Plans (ESOPs) in Eastern Europe, and for the last 10 years has been working for a private family foundation focusing on open science, particularly around genetics research. Celia has called Jefferson County home for more than 14 years, along with her son Willy and their dog Ginger, aka Miss Barks-a-lot. She is a visual artist and is also active alongside her family in the maritime community.
Heidi Eisenhour serves District 2 on the Jefferson County Board of Commissioners. She was formerly Chief Operations Officer at the Northwest Maritime Center and the Wooden Boat Foundation, and Executive Director of Jefferson Land Trust. She has lived in Port Hadlock since the early 80's and still resides there with her husband Ike, three dogs - Roux, Annabelle, and Milo - as well as 18 chickens. Her commitment to our community is what inspired her to serve on JCF's Board. She saw JCF rising to the occasion of the COVID-19 pandemic and wanted to stay closely aligned with the efforts JCF was leading from housing our working families to serving our unhoused neighbors. She sees JCF as one of the guiding lights in our community and is proud to serve on the board. She hopes that through the work of organizations like JCF, and local government efforts, we can collaboratively build models for a vibrant future here in Jefferson County.

Jen Kingfisher (she/her) finds inspiration every day, as she creates and maintains relationships with community change makers, learning about and supporting the goals and accomplishments of the organizations in Jefferson County. Jen has inspired and educated change makers in a variety of settings, including National Parks, Universities, and elementary schools. Jen holds a master's degree in Biology (Plant Ecology) from Humboldt State University and a bachelor's degree from The Evergreen State College. Jen moved to Jefferson County with her family in 2007 and intends to stay and be a part of the future of our community in perpetuity.
Joanne (Jo) Delaney knew she had found her true calling in the nonprofit sector when experiencing a deep and overwhelming joy after witnessing her community come to the aid of those in need. Her guiding principle is knowing that small decisions can add up to a powerful and lasting impact. Originally from Philadelphia, she is a graduate of George Washington University, where she received a Bachelor's in Computer & Information Systems. Jo brings 22 years of experience in the nonprofit sector to her role as Stewardship Manager and has held professional positions in fundraising and operations at universities, social service agencies, and environmental organizations. She lives with her long-time companion, Harry the "Wonder Cat".

Kate Roosevelt is passionate about the ability of the social sector and its leaders, partners, and champions to make lasting positive change in the world. She deeply values the unique role community foundations like JCF play in facilitating that change. She is Co-President of Campbell & Company, a national consulting firm that helps a wide range of nonprofit organizations grow and transform their impact through fundraising, communications, data science, and executive recruiting. I'm involved with JCF to help ensure Jefferson County is working and thriving for everyone who chooses to live here, especially those who are often marginalized and overlooked.

Katie Oman is the Chief Operating Officer of the Northwest Maritime Center. She joined NWMC in early 2021 after twenty years consulting on capital project and business planning for cultural nonprofits, cities, and educational institutions across North America. She holds an undergraduate degree in Architecture and a master's in Public History and Cultural Heritage, with a focus in the economics of arts, culture, and heritage. Katie believes deeply in the power of nonprofit organizations to create and sustain public value in their communities over the long term. This requires a robust network of local supporters who share that vision for long-term value that transcends economic changes, social trends, and political cycles. Community foundations like JCF help people create and sustain this kind of lasting impact.

Nicole O'Hara believes a healthy community is a diverse, welcoming environment that holds opportunities for people of all ages and backgrounds to thrive, connect, grow, and contribute. Nicole has lived on both coasts working in administration, community organizing and problem-solving roles for over twenty years. She holds a Bachelor's from Rutger's University; Douglass College, originally Rutger's women's school, in Environmental Policy, Institutions & Behaviors with an Administration focus. Nicole has worked to heighten awareness and garner support for a range of issues from teen pregnancy support and prevention and early childcare to salmon recovery. She chooses Jefferson Community Foundation because she believes it offers an opportunity to support a wide-range of organizations working to make Jefferson County a place where all can find safety, community and opportunity.
Siobhan Canty believes that the most effective approach to systemic social change and a healthy democracy is to grow an army of skilled, informed and engaged change makers.
In that past, she has done this work with: John S. & James L. Knight Foundation as National Director of Strategic Initiatives; Greater Washington D.C. Community Foundation as a Program Director; and Greater DC Cares, then the largest volunteer center in the Washington DC region where she was CEO. Her work garnered a National Innovation Award from the Points of Light Institute and candidacy as Presidential Appointee to the Social Innovation Fund of the White House.
Her greatest honor, though, is the role she has now to be in service of the generous, big-hearted, and creative people of Jefferson County.
Susea Albee has been a self-employed accountant for over 20 years. Her specialty is helping organizations fulfill their mission by having accurate and current financial statements and crafting budgets that create and illuminate capacity. She developed a passion for collaborative problem-solving and community building by serving on several public broadcasting boards in Alaska at the local, regional, and state levels for over two decades.
For over 30 years, Teresa Verraes has been an innovator, entrepreneur and community leader in Jefferson County and beyond. She is the Executive Director at Northwind Art, founding director of the Port Townsend School of the Arts. Each community of Jefferson County has its own set of opportunities and challenges and JCF is here to provide the information and tools we need to make positive change for generations to come. Our community has a big heart and so many of us aren't afraid to put our money where our mission is. We want to make a difference and I get great joy out of sharing how JCF can assist folks, focus resources and magnify the impacts on the things we collectively and individually care about.
