Dr Steven Crenshaw

Steven Crenshaw, MD, is a board-certified orthopedic surgeon and sports medicine team physician for the Jacksonville Axeman. Dr. Crenshaw is with Jacksonville Orthopaedic Institute (JOI) and serves as chief of Orthopedics for Baptist Medical Center Jacksonville. Dr. Crenshaw is a native of Jacksonville and a graduate of Emory University and the University of Miami School of Medicine. He completed his orthopedic surgery residency at Madigan Army Medical Center, where he put in 10 years of service with the U.S. Army - finishing as chief of the Orthopedic Surgery Service at Darnell Army Hospital in Fort Hood, Texas. Dr. Crenshaw has been with JOI since 1997 at practices in San Marco. In addition to sports medicine, his areas of expertise include adult reconstruction, joint replacements, general orthopedics and robot-assisted partial knee resurfacing. "The Axeman will benefit greatly from having Dr. Crenshaw's extensive expertise on the sidelines," said (Axeman representative). Dr. Alex Moore from Millennium Physicians Group is the lead Physician on the Axemen Medical Team. He has been with the team since their inaugural season in 2006 and has provided every medical need from player injury to general illness during that time. He dedication in attendance at all home games is a tribute to the service the he DONATES to the Axemen and all their players. He truly is one of the reasons that the players are able to continue to play such physically demanding sport at such and intense level. Drew Slover

Experience = Along with co-founding and co-owning the Axemen, Drew runs an independent marketing consulting firm. After being in marketing and advertising for almost 10 years, Slover Consulting was started in early 2010 to offer marketing consulting for small businesses. Drew was born and raised in Northwest Illinois and graduated with Bachelors degree in Marketing with an specialty in Market Research from Bradley University.

Mary Slover

Background and Experience = Mary is a Certified Athletic Trainer with her Masters Degree and has been with the team on a volunteer basis since 2006. She oversees all medical issues for both payers in staff. Along with her medical duties, she oversees much of the social media marketing for the team.
