Anneliese Martinez

Art and design have always been her passions since she can remember. After receiving her Bachelor's degree in Interior Design at California State University, Northridge, she went to experience the different fields available within the design industry to end up finding her love and passion for residential design leading to an exciting opportunity with JL Interiors. When not designing, she is always looking for the next best coffee shop with her partner in crime. Cooking and baking are another passion of hers and she enjoys doing so for family and friends. She lives for her shih tzu Chato, home goods stores and the nail salons.

Jason Lai

  • Owner / Principal Designer
Jason Lai received his Bachelor of Arts in Business Marketing and Communications from California State University, Fullerton in 2006. After studying 3 years of business he realized that he wasn't fulfilling his creative mind and decided to enroll himself in the Interior Design program and received his Interior Design certification in 2006. Jason's role as Principal Designer is influenced from 15 years of experience in the design industry and his marketing background. He has mastered an array of styles; from contemporary to traditional and anything in between. If you show him an inspirational image and dream big he will make it reality. He is a driven and focused designer that brings his style to life while still thinking about resale value and keeping in mind his clients goals. Jason's clients will tell you that he is adaptable, relatable and humble and extremely organized. He had the pleasure to feature his designs on television shows such as, Bravo's "Best room wins!" which he took the crown for contemporary design, "Million dollar Listing LA", and "Open house" on NBC showcasing his personal home in Santa Monica, CA. Jason has also been featured on Taste Made home "Weekend Refresh" showing his design skills to the world. His work has also been on Los Angeles Times, Elle Decor, Pasadena Now, The Global Design Post, Locale LA, San Gabriel Valley Tribune, and other published magazines. Aside from design, Jason loves to travel and experience different cultures and food. He will try anything once. Everywhere he goes he finds new inspiration that can be found through his interior design work. He considers himself somewhat of a wine connoisseur and loves spending time with his husband & family/friends in the Santa Barbara wine country. Jason recently got married to his husband, Justin, and their wedding was featured on Martha Stewart and Carats & Cake. He's the type of guy that will talk to a stranger on planes and become best friends with, it's happened before, she officiated his wedding!

Justine Lai - COO

Justine received her Bachelor of Fine Arts in Graphic Design from California State University, Fullerton in 2006. With her degree, Justine led operations and creative design at a small technology manufacturing company in Walnut, CA for 10 years. Deciding it was time to explore other endeavors, she was contracted with Salesforce's Finance and Strategy Operations team as an Enablement Analyst, in San Francisco. After moving back to Los Angeles, Justine settled into a new role as an eCommerce Marketing Data Analyst at a rapidly expanding fine jewelry company. With such well-rounded experience in design, operations, finance, and eCommerce, Justine is a great addition to the team. In her free time, she enjoys traveling, keeping up with the latest technological developments, playing video games, and spending quality time with family and friends.

Roxy Parra

Embarked on her journey 8 years ago when she began transforming homes in the vibrant Bay Area. Her passion for all things interior design propelled her to pursue excellence at Academy of Art University in San Francisco, where she earned a BFA in Interior Architecture and Design. She also possesses a degree in Photography, where she blends her keen eye for detail and sense of style into her interior design projects. She is inspired to channel her creativity into crafting spaces that are not only aesthetically captivating but also eternally chic. Roxy's personal design ethos exudes modern elegance, and she holds a special affinity for the exquisite imperfection of wabi sabi designs. Beyond her professional life, she finds inspiration in the natural world, nurturing her connection to the environment. Her adventurous spirit leads her to explore new horizons through travel, and she cherishes quality time with her family, friends, and her Bengal cat, Nova.

Victoria Lam

After receiving her Bachelor's in Women's Gender & Sexuality Studies from California State University of Long Beach, Victoria realized she wanted to see both diversity and beauty in the world, which led her to pursue her Associates in Interior Design. This pursuit led her to JL Interiors where both diversity and beauty coincide. In her free time, you can find Victoria cooking up a storm, listening to live music, playing video games, or traveling with her partner.
