On August 16, 2021, Kansas will be a participating state in the National Motor Vehicle Title Information System (NMVTIS) which is a national database for titling information. If there is a discrepancy between the title you apply for in E-lien and NMVTIS an error message will appear directing you to contact the KDOR help desk for assistance. The message will provide you the phone number to call for assistance. This should only occur on title transactions and should not occur on NOSI filings. Please be sure when you call the help desk that you identify this as an E-lien transaction.
