Doug is the Director of Development at Light of Life Rescue Mission and Founder and CEO of L3 Leadership. He is the author of his eBook, "Making the Most of Mentoring", a step by step guide to help you build and cultivate relationships with mentors. He blogs at dougsmithlive.com, he is host of the L3 Leadership podcast, and he is sought after public speaker. He is married to his highschool sweetheart, Laura, who currently works as an Account Executive at Ivalua. Together, they love family, personal growth, travel, working out, and serving others.
Jess Murphy is the newest addition to the L3 team. She is from Lexington, SC and brings experience in all things executive and administrative assistance. She received her Bachelors in Hospitality Management from the University of South Carolina in 2018 and loves to cheer on her Gamecocks. Jess enjoys spending time outdoors with her husband of 5 years and their golden retriever, Samson.
Laura currently works as the Director of Sales at Ivalua, a global leader in enterprise spend management software based in Silicon Valley. She is the co-founder of L3 Leadership, and loves launching women's Mastermind groups. She is married to her high school sweetheart, Doug. Together they have two daughters - Olivia and Sophia.
