Joanne Newborn is a certified executive leadership coach, trainer, and consultant with almost 20 years of experience developing high-performing teams, culture, analytics, strategy, marketing, and business development. Her experience spans from working with innovative start-ups to large publicly traded companies such as Microsoft, Amgen, Accenture, Chobani, and NielsenIQ. Joanne is a senior Faculty member at LeadWise Group and the founder of Newborn Evolution. As a business leader, Joanne recognized early on the need for strong leadership and management skills and invested in coaching and training her teams. This resulted in her teams becoming high-functioning, collaborative and accountable while feeling motivated, engaged, and uniquely valued. All of which helped Joanne continuously achieve record-breaking year-over-year revenue growth. Joanne earned her MBA from Penn State University with Beta Gamma Sigma Honors. She received the ACC Credential from the International Coaching Federation. She is also a Diversity, Equity & Inclusion Certified Coach. Joanne is a certified DiSC Personality Profile facilitator and trainer. She is a frequently published writer and keynote speaker at corporations and business universities. Joanne was born and bred in Brooklyn, NY, and has had the pleasure of living on both coasts in New York and Los Angeles. She is passionate about wine, as she spent 18 years in the wine and spirits business. She had the opportunity to visit and work with vineyards and distilleries in the US, Chile, Argentina, Iceland, Scotland, Ireland, Italy, France, and South Africa. She loves to say that wine is a living and breathing organism that is always evolving, just as we are.
