LEGACY BUSINESS DEVELOPMENT - Key Persons
Brett and his family are originally from New Orleans, Louisiana. He graduated from Southeastern Louisiana University before moving to Houston. Brett began his career with the business in 2019. He started in an entry level account management role and quickly built up his reputation within the business. Brett now enjoys coaching and mentorship, while still leading from the front as a Senior Account Executive.
He grew up playing football and baseball. He is a major foodie! If you ever need a great restaurant recommendation, Brett is your guy! Lastly, he is a huge New Orleans Saints fan. WHO DAT!
Katelyn was raised in Talent, Oregon. Katelyn moved to Houston in 2018. She began in sales and then moved into Talent Development for a time. Once she mastered that skill, she brought what she learned back into the sales field and has been a trailblazer for our newer clients.
Over the last 4 years she's represented many different clients and managed a few different teams. She takes growth and responsibility very seriously, which has helped her kick start her career.
Katelyn loves her family and her pets. She also enjoys cosplaying and scuba diving!

Kelby Owen is a Dallas native that has a new founded love for Houston. She attended Blinn College in College Station before moving to Houston. Kelby began at Legacy in an entry-level position and quickly moved to Talent Development after she realized how much she loves the culture and being a part of her team's growth. She appreciates how much this team has inspired her to develop personally and professionally. Fun fact: Kelby is a proud dog mom to her Australian Shephard, Jax.
Kevin was born in Douala, Cameroon. Growing up he spent time in Cameroon, France, Scotland and Angola before coming to Houston at age 6. He attended the University of Oklahoma after High School where he played rugby and graduated Cum Laude with a Bachelors in Economics.
Kevin is passionate about mentoring others, and creating a life of peace that holds room for others to grow in. Outside of work, Kevin is a big Houston Rockets and Texans fan, but enjoys most sports. Including being an avid fan of mixed martial arts, and personally practicing Jiu Jitsu for the last four years.
He is passionate about his family, and coming through for his parents and sisters and the never ending process of his own self development through literature, relationships and experience.
Ramy was born in Bahrain. He moved to Houston, Texas at the age of twelve. Being bi-lingual he graduated with a bachelor's in International Business from Sam Houston State University.
After working with other companies in the retail and commercial industries he started working with our current client in Houston. Ramy then moved to Indianapolis to help increase our client's customer acquisitions and retention. After experiencing a lot of growth, our client invested in Ramy and his company to move to Louisville, Kentucky in February 2015 to expand their business services.
Since opening, we have experienced over 400% growth, and our client has asked us to expand outside the Midwest to open up another location. Ramy decided to come back home to Houston after seeing what Hurricane Harvey has done, Ramy wants to be a part of rebuilding the great city of Houston. January 2018 is the start of a new market in Houston. He has never felt so much passion for Houston, he plans on not only growing our client but providing opportunities and jobs for Houstonians.
Since moving back to Houston, Ramy has opened up 3 more offices.
Tanner was born and raised here in Houston, Texas. He grew up an athlete playing football throughout his high school and college career. He attended Midwestern State University on a scholarship for football.
Once he graduated he began his career and ultimately found his way to Legacy. Being the newest and one of the fastest growing members of our executive team, Tanner holds a major emphasis on growth and development.
