Amish J. Patel

A 2004 graduate of Chicago College of Osteopathic Medicine, Dr. Patel completed his internship at Advocate Illinois Masonic Medical Center in Chicago, IL. Then, he completed a Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation Medicine residency at Schwab Rehabilitation Hospital, an affiliate of the University of Chicago's Pritzker School of Medicine. He served as chief resident in his final year. After residency, he completed an ACGME-accredited Pain Fellowship through the Department of Anesthesia at the University of Chicago Medical Center. He is Board Certified in Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation and Pain Medicine. Dr. Patel is a member of the American Academy of Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation, American Society of Regional Anesthesia and Pain Medicine, and the International Spine Intervention Society. His special interests include acute pain management, musculoskeletal ultrasound for diagnostic and therapeutic interventions, orthopedic rehabilitation, and interventional spine procedures including epidural steroid injection and radiofrequency ablation. Dr. Patel is on staff at William Beaumont Hospital in both Royal Oak and Troy. He currently holds the position of Assistant Professor and Co-Director of the Musculoskeletal Course at the Oakland University William Beaumont School of Medicine. Bret L. Burlingame

Dr. Burlingame completed his undergraduate training at University of Wisconsin receiving a degree in Kinesiology and Exercise Science. A 2008 graduate of Chicago College of Osteopathic Medicine, Dr. Burlingame served an internship and subsequent Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation residency at William Beaumont Hospital - Royal Oak where he served as chief resident in his fourth year. He then completed Fellowship in Interventional Spine Medicine and Electrodiagnostic Medicine Michigan State University where he also held the position of Clinical Instructor in the Department of PM&R. Dr. Burlingame is board certified by the American Board of Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation and by the American Board of Electrodiagnositc Medicine. Christine C. Chamberlain

Christine Chamberlain, MD, is Board certified in Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation. She has also held subspecialty certification in Spinal Cord Injury Medicine and Sports Medicine. Her special interests include but are not limited to geriatric rehabilitation, musculoskeletal medicine, spinal cord injury, spasticity management and pregnancy back and pelvic pain. A graduate of Wayne State University School of Medicine in Detroit, Dr.Chamberlain completed a Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation at William Beaumont Hospital in Royal Oak, where she served as chief resident in her fourth year. Dr. Chamberlain is a member of the American Academy of Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation and the Oakland County Medical School. Dr. Chamberlain is on staff at William Beaumont Hospital in both Royal Oak and Troy and currently holds the position of Assistant Professor at Oakland University William Beaumont School of Medicine. David J. Spiteri

A graduate with honors of Magna Cum Laude at Wayne State University School of Medicine in Detroit, Michigan, Dr. Spiteri completed his Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation residency at William Beaumont Hospital in Royal Oak. Dr. Spiteri is a member of the American Medical Association, American Academy of Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation, Michigan Academy of Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation, Michigan State Medical Society and Association of Academic Physiatrists. Douglas Boven

Dr. Angelo Allos

Dr. Angelo Allos, MD, is a board-certified Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation physician with a specialization in Interventional Spine and Musculoskeletal Medicine. With a keen attention to detail, Dr. Allos is dedicated to providing his patients with individualized care that is tailored to their unique needs. Dr. Allos completed his residency at Beaumont Royal Oak in Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation, where he served as chief resident. Following his residency, he pursued further training in Interventional Spin and Musculoskeletal Medicine through a fellowship program at the University of Michigan. While at the University of Michigan, Dr. Allos also served as a clinical faculty instructor with the PM&R Spine Department, sharing his knowledge and expertise with medical students and residents. Dr. Allos' expertise includes a wide range of non-surgical interventions, with a focus on neck and back pain, including fluoroscopic-guided injections, musculoskeletal ultrasound-guided procedures, and Electrodiagnositc Medicine (EMG). He also has a strong interest in Regenerative Medicine and stays up-to-date with the latest advances and potentials of pain medicine. He is passionate about education the next generation of physicians. Gino R. Sessa

John Maltese, M.D., is a senior parter with LMT Rehabilitation Associates, P.C. Dr. Maltese joined LMT Rehabilitation in 1990 after completing his Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation residency at William Beaumont Hospital. He graduated from the Medical College of Ohio in 1986. Dr. Maltese is board certified by the American Board of Physical Medicine and Rebabilitation and the American Association of Neuromuscular and Electrodiagnostic Medicine. Dr. Maltese is the Chairman of the Department of Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation at William Beaumont Hospital - Troy. He is also the Medical Director of the Inpatient Rehabilitation Unit at Troy Beaumont. He is a member of the American Medical Association, American Academy of Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation, Association of Academic Physiatrists, Oakland County Medical Society, Michigan State Medical Society, Michigan Academy of P.M. & R., American Association of Neuromuscular and Electrodiagnostic Medicine, and the American College of Sports Medicine. Julie A. Ferris

Julie A. Ferris, M.D., received her undergraduate degree from the University of Michigan and medical degree from Wayne State University School of Medicine. She completed her residency training in Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation at William Beaumont Hospital, where she served as chief resident during her 4 th year of training. Following residency, she completed an ACGME-accredited fellowship in Brain Injury Medicine at JFK Johnson Rehabilitation Institute in Edison, New Jersey. She is board certified by the American Board of Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation. She is a member of the American Academy of Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation, the American Medical Association, and the North American Brain Injury Society. Dr. Ferris has obtained advanced training in the treatment of traumatic and non-traumatic brain injuries and spasticity management, including oral medications and botulinum toxin injections. She is also skilled in general rehabilitation, musculoskeletal medicine, management of nerve disorders, and performance of electrodiagnostic studies. Dr. Ferris currently holds the position of Medical Director of Traumatic Brain Injury at William Beaumont Hospital in Royal Oak and is on staff at William Beaumont Hospital Royal Oak and Troy.

Lisa B. Grant
