Joselin brings with her over 15 years of experience helping children and families. Joselin worked in several community spaces before shifting into private practice including schools, young offenders residences, home and community health care, and community development. Joselin has been a professor at Humber College for the past 8 years both in the diploma and the degree in the Faculty of Social and Community Services. Joselin has provided consultation to professional colleagues, administrative staff, teachers, and supervision to Masters Level Social Worker students from UofT and Laurier. She has received her Child and Youth Worker Diploma from Humber College, Bachelor in Psychology at York University and Master of Social Work from Laurier University and is a Certified Hypnotherapist. Joselin is currently completing her PhD in Human Relationships: Psychotherapy and Spiritual Care at Wilfred Laurier University. Joselin's PhD dissertation is a cross cultural literature review to explore the specific therapeutic nature of hypnotherapy in children. Lisa Goodman

Lisa is not present in our office and acts as a psychotherapist supervisor. Lisa Goodman, MA (Counselling Psychology) is a Registered Psychotherapist (RP) with over 25 years of experience working with adolescents and adults who face complex issues related to mood, anxiety, traumatic stress, sexuality and gender identity, ADHD, disordered eating, chronic illness, and addiction. Lisa meets clients where they are. She helps clients to navigate issues and concerns; work with conflict and difficult emotions and behaviours; and refine existing skills and develop new strategies. Her work promotes client growth and resilience, and improves quality of life through strengthening relationships with oneself and with others. Everyone is welcome in Lisa's practice, including people of the global majority, the LGBTTQ community, on the autism spectrum, and all other intersections of identity. Lisa creates a space that is safe for authenticity, and actively integrates a lens of social justice and anti-oppression into her clinical work and her personal life. She has extensive training and experience in mindfulness-based (MBSR, MBCT, DBT), cognitive-behavioural, and insight-oriented modalities. She has a passion for neuroscience and other emerging evidence-based approaches, including neurofeedback and psychedelic therapy, and reviews research extensively. When obstacles to personal, relational, and professional growth are identified, Sabrina will assist her clients in developing strategies to transform these obstacles to growth.
