At Locking Preschool we focus intensely on the EYFS (Early years foundation stage) and the importance of the COEL (Characteristics of effective learning). The children have the opportunity to explore, learn and enjoy activities that all of the team work on and focus on the children's interest. We have a 'Topic week' which is based around different experiences, culture and holidays such as Under the Sea, Chinese New Year, Space and many more... The team at Locking Preschool are well established within the community. We are proud to say that Locking Preschool has been established since 1968 - that's 54 years of inspiring children to learn, laugh and grow!... Locking Pre-School is at the heart of Locking village in Weston. We take children from age 2 to 3 year olds. We have strong links with Locking Primary.
