Dharmesh initially began his tabla training at the age of 7 under Rohit Mistry and Sandeep Virdee, both students of late Bhai Gurmit Singhji Virdee, before finally commencing training under Gurmitji himself. Dharmesh has also received training under Kumar Sashwat, broadening his exposure to Kathak and Indian Vocal music and now continues to take training and guidance from Yogesh Samsi. Dharmesh's exposure to North and South Indian, Western and Fusion music reflects his love for the tabla; an intricate Indian percussion instrument...
