Cesar began working with the Mark in late 2014 as a construction laborer prior to joining the Lotus Team. His ability to learn quickly has allowed him to grow from maintaining one property to becoming Chief Facilities Engineer for Lotus Hospitality. Cesar brings a can do attitude to the job. His ability to work well with others has allowed him to grow quickly within Lotus. Cesar is not afraid of new challenges and is ready to help and support the company as it continues to grow.

Dhruv Patel - COO

Dhruv was born in India and relocated to the United States alongside his family when he was merely 13 years old. From a young age, Dhruv engaged in the hospitality industry and acquired practical knowledge in various key aspects of hotel operations. Drawing from his early experiences, Dhruv effectively revitalized struggling hotel operations by implementing sound business strategies. He undertook a comprehensive restructuring of the management team and organizational framework to reduce redundancy and labor costs while simultaneously enhancing crew satisfaction and productivity. As a result, Dhruv consistently achieved enhanced profitability across his hotel properties. His insatiable hunger for knowledge and eagerness to learn new things drive him to seek continuous improvement, which he then implements at his hotels to enhance overall performance. While pursuing his college education at UT Arlington, Dhruv financed his studies by working in hotels. During this period, he exhibited strong work ethics by juggling multiple jobs while attending full-time classes. Dhruv graduated in 2017 with a Bachelor's Degree in Business Administration with a Management Concentration. Dhruv's pursuit of excellence extends to all aspects of his life. During his leisure time, he enjoys disconnecting from the world and embarking on hiking adventures or exploring remote locations around the globe, where he can truly disconnect and cannot be easily reached.

Mark Patel - CEO, President

Nimfa Jackson-Gibson

Nimfa Jackson-Gibson joined Lotus Hospitality on September of 2020 as a Controller/Executive Assistant. She works directly with the CEO and the Director of Operations. Prior to Lotus Hospitality, Nimfa worked at Sprint, now T-Mobile where she gained over 20 years of accounting and finance experiences. Nimfa has backgrounds in Wholesale Accounts, Billing, Payment Operations, and Invoicing. She also worked as a Financial Analyst where she handled Real Estate Collections, and Corporate Security accounts. She provided account analysis and aging reports to customers and internal contacts. Nimfa has strong interpersonal skills and is very personable and easy to work with. She is a professional who gets things done. Nimfa holds a Bachelors Degree in Business Administration from DeVry University and Accounting from Southern Philippines College.

Robin Martinez - Chief Legal Officer

Robin Martinez is the Lotus Group's General Counsel, where he brings a broad range of legal experience on business and real estate issues to the team. Since starting law practice in 1989, Robin's work has included providing strategic advice to boards and senior executives, negotiating and managing complex commercial contracts, business and real estate acquisition and financing, and tax credit financing for commercial real estate projects in the hospitality, multifamily, and commercial office sectors. Environmental issues are one of Robin's core interests. He served as a member of the City of Kansas City's Environmental Management Commission, chairing a task force responsible for studying and developing recommendations for sustainable solutions for vacant lots throughout the city. Robin also devoted time to work with grassroots organizations opposing the Keystone XL and Dakota Access oil pipelines in the Upper Great Plains. When not at work, Robin enjoys going hiking and outdoor photography, playing bass guitar (heavy metal), and reading - history, international affairs, and science fiction.

Tim Ryan - VP of Sales

Tim is an experienced Sales Director with a demonstrated history of working in the hospitality industry. He is skilled in developing relationships, cultivating leadership, and driving ambition in hotel teams. Tim's experiences come from working in different departments ranging from the Front Office of large hotels and resorts to catering and event management, in smaller convention hotels. Tim has worked in a diverse range of markets including leisure resort, casino, suburban, convention, downtown and interstate properties. Working with guest at the front desk and housekeeping levels has taught him professionalism and the importance of listening. In the middle of Tim's career, he earned a Master's Degree in Business Administration from Baker University The experience of balancing work, life, school and living a new city was a great lesson in time management, priority management and delegation. The pandemic has taught Tim that the status quo is never going to stay the same. Tim's attitude is to be adaptable and willing to grow. In Tim's free time, he enjoys spending time with his wife and three children. He enjoys watching the Kansas City Sports teams or spending time playing golf.
