Andrew (BDS Bristol) has been at Crown Cottage since 2007 and became a partner in 2008. He qualified at Bristol University in 1999, and completed his vocational training with Oxford University. Andrew works to keep up with modern dental techniques and has travelled extensively to learn from some of the leading dentists in the world.
Andrew has been shortlisted for several cosmetic dentistry awards over the years. In addition to being shortlisted for Best Young Dentist, Andrew has won a highly commended award in the "single implant smile" category at the National Smile Awards.
Andrew is a member of the Association of Dental Implantology, (ADI) a full member of the British Association of Cosmetic Dentistry (BACD) and a member of the Society for the Advancement of Anaesthesia in Dentistry (SAAD).
Andrew is a keen sportsman, and likes to keep fit. He has represented Team GB at age group level in swimming, aquathlon and triathlon.
James (BDS Wales) became partner at Crown Cottage in 2012 having previously worked in Cardiff and Newport. He has a particular interest in cosmetic dentistry and has furthered his skills at the Perfect Smile Studio in London.
Away from dentistry, James is a football fan and a season ticket holder at Cardiff City. James has recently taken to the slopes, and has been learning to ski.
Martyn Smith qualified from Cardiff Dental School in 2008 after which he undertook Vocational Training in Llantwit Major. After completed his foundation year in 2009 Martyn went on to work as a SHO in Restorative dentistry at the University Hospital Wales Cardiff, community dentistry in Aberdare and Merthyr Tydfil and Oral Maxillofacial at the Royal Gwent hospital, Newport.
After finishing his hospital posts Martyn then returned to general practice and has worked at Crown Cottage since January 2012. Martyn enjoys all aspects of general practice but does have a particular interest in adhesive dentistry, tooth wear and endodontics.
Outside of work Martyn enjoys watching and playing sport especially football and prior to training as a dentist spent 6 years at Charlton Athletic football academy. Martyn also loves music and enjoys producing and mixing records which he has done for the last 15 years.

Richard qualified from Cardiff University in 2003 having attained both a BDS (Hons) and a BSc in Dental Research.
He has since enjoyed working as a general practitioner in South Wales and has a keen interest in aesthetic Dentistry.
Richard enjoys cycling, surfing and snow boarding.
Sonia has been at Crown Cottage since 2011. She qualified with CEB Dip Dent Hygiene at University Hospital of Wales in 1993.
Sonia has worked alongside implantologists and periodontists and is a member of the British Society of Dental Hygiene and Therapy (BSDHT).
Sonia enjoys spending time with her husband and children and loves running and baking.
